i like it so much! in this new generation of mix experimential theme, this jdrama bring back the raw subtances of what jdrama used to be like from the past. such a treasure for this day.
yeah bukan aku sorang yang tak suke ending drama ni ==!
translation : I was expected some punch on my brain because the OG typical japanese drama rarely disappoint me in psychological setting. its giving japanese ramake from korean drama script/plot.
i rarely watched kdrama, but i find it unusual a kdrama without unnecessary romance in a serious genre . can pretty much well-digest the story and somewhat finished it for 2 days
i didn't realized this movie an adaptation from the Colorful anime (which i'd watched looong time ago). And because i'd already forgot how the original plot was, or any other remake, i thought the story is quite interesting without comparing to any version.
i watched the anime version before this movie. This movie having different plot but its still good. Although, the anime version give me every secondhand embarrassment of what Hana felt when that boy confess at the end is somewhat cant be topped
From sanity pov, I guess it's hard to digest the quote from Suzuki's "We can't never understand each other. you hope to live but I'm different." And I think it's fair Shiraki(Kawatori) to be angry for his best friend's selfishness, because even if he truly understand the reason, he would lose his insanity. And that is something Suzuki wouldn't want to and choose to open interpretation the reason of his dead, thus all the wills.
this is the not so typical type of cliche japanese romance movie. some people will find this enjoyable but not for me. this is the worst and cringest. aside from having limited japanese movies and dramas on netflix, they provide this instead. well done.
