Why is this called the second season if the main female character is not the same person?
I think the plot is by the same author and its also a modern day romance with Yang Mi in it haha. Besides that maybe they are trying to piggyback off of the popularity of the first one.

I have started translating this novel since like two days ago, and have posted a couple chapters on wuxiaworld forums (dont know if Im allowed to link it here since its technically self advertisement :P). Google wuxiaworld if you want to check it out, this book is kind of like the Twilight of China though so just a heads up, I am only translating it cuz I love Yang Mi and am translating it in hopes other people discover her too lol.

yang mi is older than ztao by 7 years, i wonder how this will turn out to be like..
She worked with another EXO member Lu Han in one of her other movies, they didn't seem to be too awkward (although that movie didn't focus on romance). I know Yang Mi also worked with Z Tao before in a reality show too and Yang Mi usually has good chemistry with her male leads, I hope it will be fine
