Li Qin 10/10? Her kissing scene was stiff, on multiple counts. But I'll admit, she's beautiful and acts well otherwise. Production also went to the extent of adding fake white light to exaggerate their kissing scenes that almost felt unnatural. The camera work in the early episodes made some of the background look like CGI instead of actual sets. Last but not least, they also couldn't get teapots that poured out properly. Most of the cuts that showed a jade-looking teapot pouring within the royal palace was dripping like a broken faucet. As a Chinese, it was seriously hilarious.

It was a forced plot to make FL look like she had a nurturing side.
