tintin92 is so butthurt that not everyone is crazy about her favorite drama that she and her friends are making up stories in twitter/x. just accept it that your drama is flopping even in twitter and the only validation you get that it's a masterpiece is the ratings on mdl and tiktok likes. it's crickets in korea about this drama and mbc is laughing at how easily casino beat sbs in the ratings that matter. jeon yeobeen melodrama lead experiment is over. she's getting her deserved lashings in the press and in online communities. namgoong min just learned a hard lesson in not indulging his hurt ego by making promises about taking responsibility for failure in his public IG. enjoy the mdl ratings because that's all this boring pretentious drama is gonna get.

It's even more pathetic to act like you don't care about a forgettable drama but clearly it hurts you that there are people who dare speak their honest opinions about a drama and its casts.

Namgoong Min posted his feelings and bared his hurt ego to the public with his IG post. That goes beyond the private and into the realm of public information. Everyone is entitled to comment on it especially when he dared to say he deserved to be scolded if ratings didn't recover. Kdrama fans have coddled actors too much these days. Gone are the days when top stars like Hyun Bin returned their salaries and publicly apologized to the network and their fans when their high-profile dramas perform way below expectations.

Why should casting not be scrutinized when it's a very important part of someone's immersion in a drama? A lot of the fans here are very clearly Jeon Yeobeen and Namgoong Min fans who can't accept that other kdrama viewers do not share their rabid enthusiasm for this mediocrely written and self-indulgent drama. This drama is not above criticism and MDL is a public place where kdrama fans can share their views. By the looks of it, Our Movie fans think anyone who doesn't fawn over the drama and the leads are haters.

That fan has been crying here because her favorite drama is not getting the rating it deserves but when others express opinions that don't conform to hers, she will attack them. Lol.

The only critical acclaim Jeon Yeobeen is getting are from her twitter fans who squeal like mindless fan girls with every little thing she does and the paid articles that SBS has been releasing to drum up interest in the drama because no one talks about in Korea. Those hardly count as objective. Namgoong Min says he will take responsibility if the ratings doesn't recover after episode 5 and it's about time he should but he's now silent on social media when he should be apologizing to SBS and the drama's investors for ruining the network's run of outstanding ratings since last year.

You really have no concept for personal preference. Just because you can't stop talking about it doesn't mean others share your choice in kdrama. You like romances where an older man falls in love with his movie's female lead because her naïvete and childish innocence makes him feel things. Others prefer romances where there is no power imbalance and where the female lead does not look like she can tackle the male lead even when she's supposed to be knocking death's door.

They are coping so hard because no one outside MDL is watching this drama. The same people begging for ratings here can't make the drama trend in Twitter/X except for when they post edits. That's why some of them had a meltdown when SBS took down clips for copyright reasons because it's the only way the drama gets engagement. It's a mediocrely written drama wrapped in fancy cinematography with a PD and leads that take themselves so seriously. There is no humor nor heart which are the things that made Korean melodramas so successful in the past. When Jeon Yeobeen has her medical emergency, it's just another actress screaming in pain.

Daesang for what? SBS doesn't give Daesangs to dramas. Namkoong Min might win but that's because he's Namkoong Min, not because the drama is deserving. There are 10 more months worth of dramas coming up if you talk about Baeksang. No one in Korea, the country giving out awards, is praising this drama other than paid media trying to create buzz because there simply isn't. It can't even beat a recycled rerun from 2022 in the ratings.

Comparing a tvN cable drama to an free tv drama on SBS is apples to oranges. 3% for SBS is a commercial flop and an embarassment for a mutliple Daesang winner like Namgoong Min.

If the drama deserves a 1 star, then it deserves a 1 star. Our Movie fans here in MDL act like this drama should only be praised when viewership both in Korea and internationally through legal streaming platforms are so poor. What is more pathetic are the drama's fans here who think only their opinions are valid.

This drama worse than bad and the very low ratings in Korea speak for themselves. 200 million won per episode for Namgoong Min got SBS a bargain value female lead in Jeon Yeobeen and a massive flop for its prime Fri/Sat time slot. It is performative, fake and insincere. The drama sells a fantasy that belongs to the era of cringe Mills & Boons romance novels where the worldly but tortured artist hero falls for the naïve much younger virgin who changes him and melts his icy exterior. The second FL is portrayed as jealous and calculating to further hammer the fact that the heroine is perfect and pure. Jeon Yeobeen sounds so cringe with her childish speech but with that deep voice. Namgoong Min should layoff the de-aging tech because no man nearing 50 looks cool in sappy melodramas with much younger partners. It takes a lot of suspension of disbelief to buy that Jeon Yeobeen is terminally ill will mere months to live when she looks like she can tackle Namgoong Min in one take. It is beyond embarassing that even a 2 year old drama from MBC is beating this drama in the ratings.

Our Movie just doesn't have enough buzz in SK. 500k viewers per episode is very low for an SBS primetime Fri/Sat drama. Even cable dramas have better viewership than it does.

Our Unwritten Seoul is a masterpiece. So many actors have done dual roles but Park Boyoung's put her own spin on it and is doing a really good job. Even the supporting cast is amazing.
