The first part of the series had me interested but as I got to the end I was so confused and angry like wtf did…
Well to know is to read! The flow of the story was adapted terribly in the drama adaptation but the webtoon still had the same ending albeit on a more positive note(less casualties)
I just thought, the drama is a cringe All of Us are Dead while the webtoon is a high school senior D.P
The team that did the adaptation for D.P should have been the one to do Duty After School as well. They adapted D.P faithfully and it came out as a surprise sleeper hit
Bcz the drama writer decided to switch things up foolishly. In the webtoon only Jang Soo, Il Ha and Mia died during…
Well I don't remember the casualty track but you can just read the original webtoon on mangadex. It's either called Duty After School or After-school War Activity. It's a short read
I’m still shocked by the last 4 episodes, so I’m just gonna say 1 thing. Out of the 11 kids massacred, they…
Bcz the drama writer decided to switch things up foolishly. In the webtoon only Jang Soo, Il Ha and Mia died during the shooting spree. Most of them came out unscathed because Nara shot Youngsoo in shock
No the new weapon and the CSAT scene didn't happen in the webtoon.
The spheres aren't immune to a lot of things and just conventional rifle rounds can defeat them in the webtoon. The drama adaptation shot themselves in the foot with the plothole when they could've just followed the webtoon. The drama made it seem like the sacrifice of the kids was useless, in the webtoon they were not useless as they were part of the reason why the spheres got exterminated so early + they also got reunited with their parents and a lot of them survive
i should have never watched it atleast not now it's 2 am and idk what to do now... I'm traumatized what type of…
This is all on the drama writers fault as the original webtoon was fine without any plothole.
In the webtoon the spheres were simply explained as alien beings that suddenly came to earth. Case in point the spheres in the webtoon wasn't weak to the cold nor did it take special bullets to kill them like in the drama. All it took was just normal rifle rounds hence why even high school seniors were drafted because they needed riflemen. In the webtoon they fought against the medium sized spheres mostly up in the mountains and they had to use weapons like RPG.
As for the ending in the webtoon, Young soo did go on a killing spree but he only killed around 2 to 3 people which is Jang Soo, Mia and Il Ha. Nara was quick to shoot him in the head. Their male English teacher then covered up the whole incident so that they could still get their extra points. Oh the platoon leader never died as well and kept in close contact with Cha So after the whole ordeal
Where is Kim Won Bin ? Why no one is talking about him 🥲 (Platoon leader friend )
In the webtoon he only appeared for a few chapters and was never that important of a character. He was transferred to another division if I'm not mistaken but classified as MIA. In the drama making him important was a plothole in itself. That's on the drama writers. The webtoon is actually fine, you can try reading it if you disliked the ending of the drama
Its just that i want to fill the hole left by the ending of the drama . Can someone pls compare and contrast between…
In the webtoon Youngsoo did go into a killing spree but only killed Jang Soo, Mia (webtoon original character) and another student I forgot the name of. Most of them actually survived when Nara shot Youngsoo in shock. Their platoon leader also never died and their homeroom teacher/English male teacher was with them until the end and covered up the whole incident by saying it was a sphere attack so that the kids could still have their extra points. Also to mention in the webtoon the spheres aren't immune to anything and that "new weapon" never came into light, it was just a modified RPG used to take on medium spheres. The drama adaptation made it seem their sacrifice was useless unless because all they had to do was just wait a few more months untill that new weapon came into being. In the webtoon the spheres were mostly eliminated by conventional means but they still have to keep their guards up hence them still keeping guns in school in the webtoon. Case in point the drama writers tried to outsmart the original webtoon by adding original stuff but in the end it proved to be total failure as it created too many plotholes
Judging from your comment I think they followed the webtoon's ending then
In the webtoon a class of 30 something students was reduced to like 13 or 14 people so.. and the drama didn't faithfully followed the webtoon and had too many plotholes such as the amount of students not being the same as the webtoon so it created the impression of a lot of the main characters dying in the final episode
My guess is subs for atleast 2 episodes will come out around 7 hours after it releases. Then the final 2 will…
For part 1 it was like this. The first 3 episodes came out around 7-10 hours after it dropped on tving and the rest was finally uploaded after a span of 2-3 days

"Too much" is what I can describe for this adaptation
