definitely one of the bestt i'd say, and deserves a high rating but no way near THE BEST DRAMA OF 2021 in my opinion
I also struggle with period dramas unless they come very well recommend by someone I know, so I haven't seen steal the fate. I also dropped youth of may after episode 2 cause it literally seemed like every k-drama I have watched over the last 2 years, very generic love story. Maybe I am missing something. It also seems popular on here. Also dropped doom at your service after 4 episode (started good and I thought it would be like Goblin), but it got really generic after episode 4 so I dropped it.

Interesting. Mouse is on my 'on hold' list. I was tempted to drop it, but I can't yet for some reason so it's on hold. LOL. The problem with being on hold is that the world of drama moves so quickly and I may never get back to it and now that North America is opening up again ...
The beginning of law school reminded me too much of the American show 'how to get away with murder' and I wasn't that impressed so I dropped it after episode 2. It seems to be popular here though? Does it get any better? LOL
In terms of my best drama so far, I checked my watchlist to see the 2021 drama's I have rated above 8 stars and its only: Vincenzo and Sell your haunted house. 7.5 stars is Move to Heaven and Tengoku to Jigoku. Thats it! So apparently I only have a top 4! LOL

100% ON OH MASTER. I dropped this at episode 13. Thats how bad it got, that I couldn't even care to finish it. At that stage of a drama, one would ordinarily want to finish it cause one has already invested so much time watching it, but it just got so bad and I got so mad and dropped it.
The "so bad it's good." is I think very subjective depending on peoples tastes. I also cant really define it.

Yeah, with sooooo many dramas to watch now, its very hard to finish a drama that's not really good. I watch English, K-drama and J-drama now so if I get bored, I drop it. I don't even think twice about it unless it's special, like Vincenzo.
Vincenzo started off really good. But by episode 10, it started being a typical drama for me and I was mighty tempted to drop it, but it was special. Never seen something like that, so I skipped watched a few episodes and by episode 14/15 it got better again and I finished it. Maybe you should do the same.
You are absolutely right about J-dramas and that is exactly why I watch them. LOL. Tengoku was very nice, but most things Ayase Haruka is in are pretty good. K dramas started to bore me for a while and I stopped watching them from 2018-2019. But the pandemic gave me time to get back into it.
Not sure, I can start C-drama, my plate is so full, but maybe you can recommend something really exciting to get me started. I went through your lists and it seems like we have similar tastes.
I am currently watching 6 dramas: 1. And Toki Kiss Shite Okeba, 2. Koi was Deep ni, 3. Mad for Each Other, 4. Sell your haunted house, 5. My roommate is a Gumiho (although I am close to dropping it) and 6 Mine (hate watching at this point, although I love the FL). I will also start Penthouse 3 cause I love a good Makjang.
In terms of feelings, I find the characters' willingness to apologize is one of the most refreshing aspects of…
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS!. Will be interesting to see how they actually end the show! I also agree with your note on the willingness to apologise. The apologies from Ji-ah after she has flipped out (LOL) are also very sincere. This show is great. THERE, I SAID IT AGAIN. LOL
@Mariaaa13 —You’ve raised some excellent points but I disagree that these are plot holes. While the show has…
Wow, Great analysis indeed. You clearly work in a 'learned' field IRL. What do you do? There is however a typo in your explanation of point 2, 3rd paragraph, 1st sentence. Otherwise you would have received an A+. Now you just get an A. LOL, Just kidding! Great read!
Hmm... interesting thought. The show did explain that the egg ghosts do not have memories or personalities, just…
they better make him pay. A simple arrest is not enough for him. He has caused whether directly or indirectly so much death and destruction over the course of the last 20 years!
AGAIN, I SAY.... THIS IS THE BEST DRAMA CURRENTLY AIRING AND ARGUABLY THE BEST DRAMA OF THE YEAR SO FAR. The romance tropes in Kdrama are tiring and have been recycled so many times and the fact that we keep going back as viewers to basically watch the same thing over and over again just shows how simple we are as humans. This DRAMA IS A MUST WATCH for anyone doubting and a HUGE BREATH OF FRESH AIR .
I feel so bad for Hee Soo. She does not deserve to suffer like this T.TShe shouldn't have married that psychopath!
she should have fired that tutor on episode 1 when she saw her in her dress. I would have! lol. In retrospect, the writing in this drama is not the best. the writer needs to be dealt with.

No pressure on the C-dramas.
