yes, there are dramas that don't have a FL and are termed as bromance like the untamed, word of honor, whisper of fate etc. they had major plots and the "bromance" develop through out the drama. but in Heaven's official blessings, it's straight up romance, caz how will you explain Hua cheng waiting for 800 years for xie Lian in a non romantic way? everyone knows the main plot is BL 🥲

Both the MLs have become very famous in mainstream chinese drama. especially Zhang Linghe after the best thing and pursuit of jade. they have other big projects with them in the lead and since china has banned BLs, this would cause massive backlash if it's released.

i feel the editing to be a little choppy and abrupt in certain places. the transition were so jaring and confusing sometimes

the plot is progressing... it's actually not PZ but the ML who is the reason for the distance... suprisingly PZ was somewhat decent in the episodes, imo.

they both have a significant screen time and plot going on which suprising doesn't even overlap with the main plot. they both are cute though but they story is also about to unravel.
