Because I think she’s acting in a way that’s believable. Yeah you can find her actions frustrating and dumb but I don’t think it’s out of character for someone who’s facing her own death and the death of a loved one in the face. Even if you think she’s behaving irrationally (which I don’t but many do) it’s understandable.

Many are also saying that sol is helpless and dumb and that seonjae is always the one coming to her rescue when its supposed to be her who’s travelling back in time to save him. I think people forgot that in the second timeline, it was sol who SAVED HERSELF. She made different decisions and in turn things played out differently. She’s no longer handicapped and seonjae does not feel guilt or depression, and in 2023 does not die. She might not have changed the situation completely but it’s not like she failed either??? She has the potential to turn things around and if there’s anyone who can change things, it’s her .

-However sol got away so she’s a key witness/victim of his crime. She knows his face so he must get rid of her.
-Also he’s hyper fixated on her now and is determined to make her his next victim.
- Then he got busted and caught by the police, where he overheard and implied that sol was the reason he was caught. Now he’s clearly out for vengeance.
