Seo yea ji didn't deserve her hiatus because he was doing the exactly same to her. they were maybe toxic to each other but they are 2 grown adults who can deal with their own problems. He even stated many time that his behaviour wasn't her fault. how many couple in face the exactly same issue everyday and everywhere ??? We are nobody to interfer with this kind of private matter. It's not about KSH being a pedo but him turning to be the one who paid the staff to spread fake news about her??? idk if it's true but if it is.. it's just unfair and so she's a victim

From this information i can tell that they just wanted to ruin her, all of it wasn't about money. I don't want to speculate so i will just base myself from the reliable informations i got, everyone should stop defending when so many proof are shown. I hope that her family will find their peace.
Jiang Si used a lot the knowledge she got in her 1st life, concerning the use of plants etc.. She's different from the other female lead in rebirth drama because what she wants it's to get peace with her loved one. She doesn't want to get any revenge in the first place, she wants to change ( not being a victim of her fate anymore) that's why she's trying so hard to save her family (and yes, her family struggle didn't caught that much my interest either.
However i understand your opinion concerning the first part of the drama but i think that the political struggle in the palace might have interested you (ep 24). we understand better some "evil" characters because their story are revealed and the chemistry of the protagonists juste increased so much. The quality just incresed since, it's getting better and better !! (you may try to watch the palace arc, from your review i think that you could like it)
