I'm in the U.S. and wonder if Netflix only had the show for a short time. I haven't found it yet; also tried looking under "Melo is My Nature" and the various leads' names.
I only watched 1 of the list: Pegasus Market. On the first day of this year as my choice drama to welcome the…
Pegasus Market was one of the most heartfelt shows I've seen in recent years. Though it originally reminded me of The Rise and Fall of Reginald Perrin —that was a British series about an ad man who starts telling the truth and inexplicably becomes more successful—Pegasus Market brilliantly balanced absurd humor with tenderness. I loved it.
I do not think Graceful Family's underappreciated. AT ALL. It achieved sky high viewership when it aired and received…
I also found "Be Melodramatic" to be one of the best of the year. I loved it all—writing, acting, music, and found it funny as hell. I don't normally track ratings but I was puzzled by its poor ratings. I hope that domestic audiences grew to appreciate it via streaming. It would be a great fit for Netflix too.
This drama is available with English subs at several streaming sites. It is geo restricted so you will need to…
Thanks for the links. I tried watching via ExpressVPN without success. I've asked the VPN to see if they can figure out the best location to watch from ...
I'm loving this show a lot as of episode 11. Am sad there's not more attention being paid to it.
I'm LOVING it. How can I not when it combines my favorite genres: workplace dramas/cohabitation/team-building/chosen families. It's a refreshing change from the historical dramas I've enjoyed with Sun Li and Luo Jin. It's also a relief to see Luo Jin not crying in every episode. Sure, there are some tears but it's quite a heartwarming series, overall.
love this drama, after the tragic but beautiful drama, Royal Nirvana, this one is good too, no English subs yet,…
A misplaced turd is horrifyingly funny in any language. (I was gasping with laughter.) I love how the show is taking the basic premise of the Japanese show and warming up the characters—especially the two leads. Let the cohabitation hijinxs begin!
Thanks for the article, definitely typical manga: absurd, light, and entertaining. I'm glad that the leads are…
Although he professes a desire to be her slave and gets pleasure from Sato-san's resistance and corrections, it's unclear whether Amagi Kyoichi is a self-defined SMBD type. What we DO know is that Sato Yui is the woman he needs.
Sato-san is special because she doesn't tolerate his arrogance. She's the only person in his life (outside of his family) who pushes back. He's surrounded by an obsequious, fawning staff or women who want his favor. Sato-san, however, wants nothing from him.
Additionally, the CEO seems to bring something pungent out of Sato-san. She appears very gentle and unassuming but is quite deft at articulating her dislikes and protecting herself.
What remains to be seen is how Sato-san reacts to this man's sincerity. He doesn't just want to be kicked around. He wants HER love and is beginning to figure out how to get past her barriers.
I love this wacky show and discovered it via ninja-reflection. As others have noted, the episodes are all too short. I love how the FL calls him out for his nonsense and her gradual thawing is kinda delicious.
The Idol & Romance channel pinned a message to English speakers at the top of each video's comment list: "Dear English watchers, due to the fact that the official subtitle may not keep up with the video update, we will provide the Google translation version for your reference. Meanwhile, we will upload the official subtitle as soon as we can. Sorry for the inconvenience."
I completed the first four episodes and will likely not continue. The actors and concept are fine—I've seen some of these actors in other excellent productions—but this show is a dud. The writing is sluggish and dull. The aegyo is cringey. Each episode clocks in at just over 60 minutes and at least 1/3 feels like filler. The best thing about this story is the ambiguity of nearly everyone's motivations. Beyond that, the writing would've benefitted from aggressive editing.
Watching Ep. 8 with English subs now. Love this show so much, I watch it raw too. Never imagined a restaurant-themed series could be so engaging and heartwarming. Only quibble is that the fan subs don't cover the epilogues. Otherwise, this is one of my favorite series of 2019.

This is a light-hearted and charming show.
