I was thinking about it and I can’t even imagine Taichi kissing or hugging properly, cause he’s such a child (not in a bad way). Despite his maturity in dealing other people’s issues, when it’s about himself he just can’t handle (like Kohei always said). And we are talking about Japan wich always shows more realistic reactions from the characters considering their personalities.

Oh yes, I never thought she was romantically interested in Kohei. I didn't even care about her blocking Taichi or advising Kohei, because Kohei would have stopped her if he wanted to. But the way she treated Taichi was completely unnecessary. Taichi’s friend was very kind to Maya and I love it! He’s so precious just like Taichi.
I really really really loved this show. I mean every single party of it. Even though sometimes I wish Maya would disappear I tried not to pay much attention to her. This was one of the most beautiful and sensitive series I’ve ever seen. Thanks Japan for giving me such a wonderful experience.
