You don't have to lol. I haven't been able to either, and it's been awhile. I'm finding myself re-watching this for the third time right now 😊.

Don't give up yet, the scary factors will get better as the stories goes on. The novel is long and I believe they did the best they can within 36 eps at roughly 43 minutes/ep, so yeah the scary aspects weren't on par to that of the novel. But I still enjoyed the series, especially the chemistry b/t the leads.

The original series were incomplete. There should have been the third part of the novel to the series but that didn't happen. The novel has a happy ending.

It seems this series is loosely based on the novel Yesterday, it's not an adaptation of the novel. It deviated a lot from the novel. The novel is more toxic imo. Both MC and ML are red flags in the novel. And there's no Lalit character in the novel, nor the Kelvin character portrayed to self harming himself in the novel. But the series is still good.
