we have to keep in mind that this drama was originally planned for 40 plus episodes then got cut down to 36. I'm pretty they did have to edit out some of those heartfelt moments between the 4 so they wouldn't ruin the flow of the main story... What I wish was to be able to see that planned 40 plus episodes instead of the edited version of 36. And in my opinion, I like how realistic their characters' relationships written out. It would not make sense to me if Mengli didn't fall for Tianhe and Ziying didn't fall for Lingsha. And I also love how Mengli and Ziying handled their one sided loves, so kind and so mature! This is actually the first drama I watched where there is no delusional or jealous SML or SFL....
why are people questioning Lingsha's intentions? Hello? she doesn't want to die! she never wanted to die young but she has excepted her fate and all she's doing now is trying her best to make sure her love ones live on in happiness without her. To me, that is very selfless. She loves both Tianhe and Mengli and that's why she tried hard to fix them up so they can take care of each other when she's gone... and if you don't understand that, i'm not sure we are watching the same drama?! Stupid Su Yao, you can never be Su Yu because of your mediocre talent and evil heart, so all you know to do is take away Lingsha's power/life... pathetic!!!! Argg I'm soooo maddd.
