i gotta say after watching episode 26, I have no doubt Mr. Ziying is in love with Lingsha, but as a great guy he is, he would never tell anyone his true feelings for her... I almost wished they would make a 2nd Lingsha for him 😥😥my poor Ziying is suffering so much watching Lingsha and Tianhe dotting on each other 🥺🥺😢😢
I don't see how they could write it any different way through... Letting him die was actually showing him mercy. He didnt want to live as someone's shadow and his death helped his one and only friend a great deal. He knew it and he chose it himself. I know some of us wanted him around until the end, but imagine you yourself walking around without a heartbeat knowing you are just a lifeless man, would you want that? I chose to think he's happier now being in Lingsha's memories... :)
