Ep 5 was mostly filler nonsense and nothing really out of the box, but it did give me a couple of cracks. If you live off K-dramas, you probably won’t be disappointed, just don’t expect anything mind-blowing.
FYI, FWIW, This is the writer's first project. Her script won the grand prize at the 2022 MBC scriptwriting contest…
I’ll keep watching to celebrate Ji Eun. Tbh, if you ask for my raw POV, even the cooks in the kitchen feel like part of her fan circle, so it all leans into celebrating her. The rankings and success make sense that way, so I’m just enjoying it with everyone else.

That’s fair, I’ll make sure to check the awards panel next time before forming an opinion. Maybe I’m still learning how to balance that with my own take.
at this point I’m literally just watching this to celebrate Ji Eun. the writing is kinda disappointing, hope she doesn’t work with this writer again. the director did manage to save some parts, but yeah I’d watch anything if Ji Eun is in it. she’s the only reason I’m still here tbh
seeing Yang Ja get beaten was literally the best moment so far
I Gyeong is the only pure one fr, she deserved sm better… could’ve actually been something real with Su Jong 🥲
