I really loved this drama, a warm at first, then soothing, then heartbreaking, then reflecting and healing at last.
This is a mature kind of drama but not in the boring way and it's understandable that it's not everyone's cup of tea, but worth watching till the last bit.
I laughed sometimes, blushed a couple of times, got angry and shed a lot of tears because of it. The last episode was worth the wait even though it was hard avoiding this comment section lol
I'm soo freaking happy for JinWoo and Moeun, they love each other and they deserve all the happiness despite the breaking up and the bitterness. They have my respect for overcoming their differences with time and with an accepting and loving heart (and overcoming their personal issues with their loved ones).
Kudos for both lead actors for the phenomenal portray of the characters especially Jung Woo Sung, he was... just... wow. I enjoyed his acting to a point that it will be difficult for me to be moved by any other acting for now.
This drama will hold a precious corner in my heart, not only because of how real and vulnerable the drama was but because how similar it was to some of my life experiences, the fun and the debate we all had because of it, and finally because this is the most reacting I did since the shutdown of the original dramacrazy site back in 2013.
I got an "I love you, Moeun" at last and that will mark the end of "Tell Me That You Love Me", thank you so much for this journey 💙

Yes this drama is also so special to me as it is for so many others for how human an vulnerable the story was portraied without unnecessary drama or manipulation. A relationship so pure that we cherished and nutchered with so much love and attention just like the cast, writers and director did, we shared every moment with them and each and every one of us sees themselves on the ML/FL or even in some moments of this drama.
TMTYLM made me rethink some important moments in my life and make me question some decisions I made and even think about my future relationships (love, friendship or family).
As I said before, I hope for a happy ending with them reunited, but I'll root for both of them even if they go separate ways, from the bottom of my heart...

People are so used to th typical kdrama FL to the point that they miss the fact that our FL seems so far from that image by being the realistic ever in kdrama land

My heart aches for JinWoo, he deserves to be happy, but I kind of loved that he took the initiative and break up with Moeun, now at least she can rethink her feelings and understand what she wants and what he means to her. She wasn't ready yet for this relationship even though they love each other and even with her trying.
JinWoo was so sincere when breaking up with her, the feelings, the gaze, him thanking her for the love and for trying and for reaching out to him first... My heart literally sanked at that moment..
I cried so much for this couple and now this drama is coming to an end. So I still wish for a happy ending ..

How cruel can the ex be !! Hurting JinWoo by that lame excuse and saying nonsense to MoEun about helping the future of JW, and then that sleeptalking thing!!! Can someone stop here please! She even hurt that other painter... She's like a walking misfortune striking left and right!!!!

I understood perfectly your comment and understand your point of view, the ML is the one who needs more in this relationship given his condition,I totally agree and I never said that FL needs "the same" amount of attention, but she needs at least more than he given her, even his friend said it "do smthg and make here feel that you only love here".
The situation around his ex involve FL too and affect her directly so it needs to be talked about, not like her birth secret that she needs to confront by herself and sort it out with her family.

To sum up, no one is to blame here but they need more time to adjust to this situation.

Absolutely! He is phenomenal conveying emotions as strong as this and being true to the character as if he is the one suffering. I really wish him a happy ending.

She's not in love and "expect something in return", that's her friend situation who have a one sided love for her or even her brother when loving here roommate secretly before becoming a thing. In our leads case it's already a "relationship". Relationships needs 2 or more to happen, needs people in those relationships to care for each other, to understand the other, to feel him/her and communicate. Even in friends relationship if your friend doesn't care as much as you do then something is going on. And when it comes to "love" you can't always ask your partner "why" and "give me" because it should be natural.
Again it's not only about the ex because MoEun showed up to JinWoo's house and listened. He's a green flag for sure and she's the greenest FL I personally ever seen in dramaland. She need the love that she deserves as much as she gave him what he needed.

What MoEun is feeling is understandable and it has nothing to do with age, it's all about the dynamic of their relationship: the giving/taking and communication.
She was always first to reaching out to JinWoo, first to love, first to confess, always asking and understanding him given his situation. But even in a normal relationship if the other person dont reciprocate then it's an unhealthy relationship and a doomed one.
With all this and and taking into consideration his own history, insecurities and disability, her burn out was inevitable. So yes, even though it breaks my heart seeing them like this, I can only understand her, root for her to sort everything out and go back to JinWoo.
I wished JinWoo was more open with her cause she's trying man.. like please do smthg and that watch!! please wake up and stop this nonsense!!!

EP 13 wrecked me up. Well, I understand moeun being like this for the ex showing up late at night and Jinwoo letting her in.. but what I can't understand why is he sorry for not talking about her (the ex) sooner and her reacting as if she didn't know.. didn't they already sorted it out and moeun seing "she knew" and "she's ok with it" ???
