As a hungarian I was surprised to have noticed that they used obviously hungarian props in certain scenes. The first time I realised it was at Episode 30 at 30:58 minutes (on Viki). The book stand reads "Minőségi Könyvek", as in Quality Books :D
Those who already read the novel. Don't you guys find that Tong Yao in this drama way more calm and composed compared…
I think it's the opposit. I think Tong Yao in the novel was a lot more level-headed, head-strong, realistic and a lot more composed. In the drama she overthinks more, and is a bit more childish, in my opinion. Not that its a bad thing, they are just different. But I liked novel-Tong Yao more :)
Anybody understand e-sport here? I don’t quite get it. In Go Go Squid, it doesn’t look like gaming like in…
Go Go Squid concentrates on "Capture the Flag" competitions, which are basically a form of cyber security. They require programming skills, where you can both attack and defend a server. Falling Into Your Smile on the other hand focuses on games. In this case, it is a MOBA game, where they play in teams of 5 against each other. They need to strategize and understand player data in order to win. Since it is already a created game they play, they do not need to know any programming. I hope I understood your question and answered it well! :))
I think the person writing the novel could fill up as many pages as they wanted to. This drama introduced a lot…
I agree with John. There's still so many unresolved issues with so few episodes left. The pacing of the drama is not thought out well, considering we are over the half-way mark with nothing happening. The second half of the drama will have to be very fast-paced to deal with everything. Why the writers and directors thought it's a good idea to slow down the first half with filler episodes, and then jam everything into the second half is beyond me...
I think the series started to drag a bit since episode 24-25. Hope it will get back on track quickly, because I'm losing interest... :( Mi Gu has lost the last of her brain cells. Xiao Xue is selfish. She didn't want to answer her father's questions about what happened in Yanshan Tunnel simply out of spite, while this case could save so many lives... Now, that her father is lying in the hospital, suddenly she has a change of heart. Oh please.... Xia Chu's father interrupted the only scene that was worth watching the last few episodes for (between the main leads), and now he is getting annoying too. His presence is pointless as well as irritating. I seriously hope the story will pick back up :(
May i know why? Bcs i hvnt watch yet that drama but will watch someday
I think "You Are My Hero" was better in every aspect. There were no annoying or unlikable characters, the main couple had a solid relationship with no breakups, and the plot was engaging as well with a lot of hospital and military scenes, yet it combined well with the romance. I'm having a bit of difficulty watching this though. The acting and the way the female lead is portrayed seems a bit childish, the 'best friend' Mi Gu is a psychopath (in my opinion), who falls in love with a psychopath, and the director of the series did not combine the hospital and the military trope well. There would have been so many opportinities to bring the two fields together, but I found it a bit lacking, while in YAMH the two main leads constantly meet because of their work, which intersects at times. So overall, definitely watch YAMH!! :)
I was really waiting for this drama :( I check it every single day to see whether the air date has changed, and I'm disappointed to see that it's undetermined again. On the other hand I started to read the book and I'm really enjoying it. Makes me even more excited for the drama too :(
Can anyone recommend other romComs where ML is into FL at (or near) the beginning and stays true to FL, protecting/taking…
I highly recommend Refresh Man. Its very similar to this one: Powerful, cunning ML, FL learns to handle the market industry, ML constantly helping her in the background when needed, stood by her side throughout, ML has been in love with FL since high school.
