Now at almost 99th chapter of the novel . One thing that is concerning is the whole human mask thingy . Like Anle takes it off for a few moments in between . but after the reveal she completely took it off , and took the original identity of ziyuan . Wondering how will they pull this off , Like there can not be two female leads , second one taking over completely at later half of the story .
Also , This is not ChangGeXing 2.0 , The story,the character of AnLe and LiChangGe are different , A Lot different . Both rumored actors can very much be substituted into these characters , You can very much imagine those two gorgeous faces as AnLe and HanYe . (A plus point so far)
Upto 25 chapters in right now , So far the novel is , ummm ... notsointeresting . The character of Anle is nice , but the story itself is very much like some beginner wrote a wattpad story (Though I would argue wattpad stories are Faaarrrrrrr better XD . ) The characters setup for both male and female leads needs better content TBH , cuz they are actually nice . Would definitely finish it , to see what their story will be further ahead , But these days For me personally , I have no interest to watch chinese dramas if they do not do good in first few episodes . Chinese dramas on whole these days have become very much repetitive content wise . Praying to Buddha to give the scriptwriter his wisdom (.....!!!!!!) Should really wait to read more after the cast will officially be announced , Don't wana go through those 143 chapters if reba will not be a part of it XD

Well , it is not fully true . Most dramas that suffer that prolonged airing date are mainly dramas with real historical pointers/characters/references , Or dramas with a lot post production/CGIs . Modern dramas get their viewing certificate pretty early . There is also this weird law that limits how many costume dramas can be aired within a timespan , so some never gets to see the light of the day.
Well until there is any official announcement we cannot be sure about anything . But personally I would rather watch a compact 40-45 eps in continuation than stretching it , and making it into two seasons . Too many episodes come with more side plots and boredom.
If rumors are to be believed , there has been a new character added , a particular relationship is also being modified as well . Hope they will not make it way too cliche.
I don’t want Allen to act with Reba on this drama cause there are rumor that he doesn’t do kisses.? A drama…
Without those intimate scenes , kissing scenes (including the ones that can be said to be kissing scenes but are actually not kissing scenes XD) It will feel extremely anti-climactic , after all the tension that gets build up between the two . So pretty sure jialun knows what he has signed up for .
Hope and pray the stylist won't give him some hideous looking white hair , and go for the silver hair as described in the novel . Ah , have more things to say , but will wait until they are officially announced .
I can not digest the idea of reba and JiaLun in an ancient costume drama . Their wibes are sooo different from each other . And it seems highly female lead drama . Also started reading the novel , read a few chapters and got interested so will read the whole .(It is verrrryyyy looong , will take a while .)
