A movie doesn't need excessive music/cuts cuts and lots of different camera angles for it to not be slow-paced.

I'm glad it wasn't just me who thought that this was very slow-paced. It also lacked any strong emotions for me.

I like slice-of-life things for a slower pace but a lot of the scenes just went on for too long.

Ah, also one of your favourite movies is Usagi Drop! I was thinking of that movie before I visited your profile actually. It's on my plan to watch because the anime was adorable and it stars Matsuyama Ken'ichi and Ashida Mana, and I really like them both! Have you seen the anime version? :D

Three minutes in and it was already really funny for me! It's hilarious, touching, and very emotional in parts. I found myself talking to the screen a lot because I was so involved.

Who cares if Seto and Yamamoto are in this movie - it sucked, and their acting ability wasn't shown off very well either, unlike their roles in other things.

The girl who played Jan Di in Boys over Flowers is in the Taiwanese version! I am more excited to watch this, now. I'm guessing she's the one who has a dub actress? Are you saying that she has someone to dub her the whole time? :/

Is the Taiwanese one good?? I usually only stick to Japanese and Korean (a habit I must stop...before, I'd only watch Japanese dramas/movies) but I loved the Japanese one so much that I wouldn't mind giving the Taiwanese one a go sometime. P.S. sorry I take so long to reply - uni takes up a lot of my life...

He stole the show in Hana Kimi, and you're right - he was okay in Unubore but some scenes of his made me laugh. :D Never seen Maou though.
