Hahahaha I must say I really like your monster of the week illustration. After reading it I couldn't unsee the monsters of the week in each episode. But it's quite funny because now I imagine these swamp monsters to crawl in each episode then crawl away with their tails between their legs

So glad you wrote this review too! I created a MDL account just to give this drama a good review too. I feel some of the Chinese criticisms were too harsh. It really did lift my spirits and I spent a great deal of time laughing and grinning from ear to ear. I also found the storyline very interesting and enjoyable.

Thank you! I agree one of my least favourite characters is Wan'Er. She's so one dimensional. Even her villainous mother is so much more interesting than her. I am glad you like the Emperor too. I was wondering if me saying that I liked the Emperor's character was controversial. I do hope to see more of the people from Beiqi because I found them quite interesting.
