Sib doesn't know that Gene thinks he is drugged... if you watch the whole scene at the end they show that he was searching for his first time not Viagra. also when he questions Nubsib later in the series he is confused because he has no idea what Gene's talking about.

i know they could probably do it but the question is should they? should they break up for the sake of the fans and fanservice...? in my opinion no... and they are doing a good thing showing this in the show!. because fans are already delusional enough. now for the cursed ep 11 i kinda agree but it's like that with every story... we have to have a conflict near the end and probably a happy ending. it's not that uncommon and for me not that annoying anymore if it's done for a good enough reason and not some misunderstanding.

i know that they didn't say it in the episode but in my head i was thinking that if Nubsib withdraws from his contract and leaves the show, the whole production will be affected like all the people involved from the actors to the crew and all the stuff. if you think about them Gene's decision makes more sense since he is the most levelheaded and selfless of the two... I'm not saying that they should break up for the sake of the company but many people will be affected if bad engineer gets canceled not only Sib who, as we 've seen, can probably afford it.
