I’m on episode 28 currently. Im too long to give up but the GrandMother is pissing me off. After almost being murdered by another granddaughter for her crualty, after being recovered she still pressuring FL to her rigid ways forcing an unwated marriage on her. SmH!

1) Why they let them be siblings for that long? I put this out for so long that I resigned myself to finish it but it was uncomfortable that they let them be siblings too long.
2) The FL baby voice is ok at 1.25, 1.5 but cringy at normal speed.
3)ML face is too expressionless but thats how he usually act.
4)Why they let the marquis toss her around to his content all series long? She has 2 powerful families behind her fgs! 🙄Dude can put hands on her whenever he wants like she was a regular common girl. So irritating.
5) At their wedding Husband had to leave without even completing the rituals. I would’ve completed it quickly before going to the case letting his bride be kidnapped. Is he the only offical in the capital or something?

I unfortunately dropped it at 20. Girl My CDrama list is so long I gave it a chance but couldnt waste my time longer.

Drama would’ve been so much better if theyve written FL smarter, more sturdy. She came off as a smart wanna be but a vase in reality.
While ML is doing everything to suport and protect her and hers, she is undermining and cutting grass under his feet. Hypocritical and very annoying. She is beautiful though. Wasted potential. 😩

Midway through episode 9 I remember Chasing Jade was dropping today and left! I love the actors and wanted to bear with it but it really was and excruciating watch. 😩😩😩

They spent most of the show talking about main couple upcoming wedding but at the end we only saw the latest side couple one. Like 😩

This wouldve starred higher if they had less episodes and FL had a more serious attitude. She is so beautiful and so smart but the baby voice and more infantile demeanor for such serious responsabilities are a put off.
Plus, Female officials were so rare back then and her and her annoying bff were their representatives? I felt like pulling my hair.
Im on episode 20 after a week of struggling with it and feeling like dropping! 😩
Love ML though! What a waste for me.

I dont have the biggest heart and I kinda love that. That lady that Mudan save with her late mother Jade who went back to her ex husband and got her enslaved would’ve never been forgiven by me. I would’ve never talk to her in this life again. Do I understand that her abuse make her this way? I do. Ill wish her well from afar. Asking her to come back living with you is foolish to me. Some path people have to walk by themselves to save themselves.

I tried to laugh but the king is too useless. I dont find it funny at all that innocent people are dying left and right cause of his incompetence. Cant he see his people are suffering.? Such a traitor left a lump in my throat.
Plus Such good skills of the FL wasted with childishness all series long.
Total Waste of talent and ressources on the series as well as in real life.
