He has baggage with him. His mother is sick and he has younger brother, they all depend on him. Furthermore, XG she is an only child who grew up with love and “seems” to never suffer. If I were him, being with her with the current me, I would be insecure too. I would only be brave enough of being with her when I can make her happy.

Chris seems good, I hope she ends up with Zhuang Xu. I mean yes ZX really did XG dirty in their college years, but he basically is a good person with insecurities. He is smart, good looking, responsible, and a filial son. I just can’t hate him. I hope he can have his redemption arc by learning to love himself first before loving others
Final verdict after finishing SAL: I love the love story between Zhao and Mu, but other elements like all the racings or fights, I could have cared less. Most of the time I just played with my phone during those scenes.
Another thing that deserves shoutout is the stepmom and stepdad of Mu, we rarely see those characters in dramas, I mean they be so supportive and kind towards the leads. Especially if you watch too much vertical dramas like me 🙏
As someone who never finishes Esther Yu’s past dramas bcs of her voice, I am actually glad I gave this a chance and actually ended up liking it. Maybe because of the vibes/tones/lights, most of them speak in lower voices so I managed to overlook and tolerate her cringey tone (except when she shouted, yes I cringed😅)
He Yu he is so suited acting as Jin Zhao bcs his face is so manly, and his scar makes him manlier😍You guys understand rightttt?

yeah, I watched LBFAD till ep 20ish. I liked the story but back then I felt her voice were too much that I dropped it. I will watch LBFAD again if I finish this. ski into love is definitely a pass though 😅🙏
