i am really loving this show so far but i have a question. what did fang mu yang's parent do? and what happened…
They were against the “Great Revolution” meaning they disagreed with the political situation at the moment. They were in a Re-Education facility, so they had to do hard manual labor and swear not to go against the socialist party, kind of like a prison brainwashing facility, but for the people at the time it was like a salvation camp to help people understand that the Big Red China was the only option. They were exiled to the countryside facility because they tried to have freedom of speech.
