Yeah, that's true. You make sense here. But it is also contradictory to his words he said before. He said he is drawn to people naturally who are persistent in choosing him above anyone else no matter the circumstances. He has always been happy that he was jin woo's first choice and this time he clearly wasn't. Jin woo has never hesitated in picking him only. Even if he's unhappy that some people are backing out. Shouldn't he be even more happy about the fact that jin woo still has the courage to pick him everyday just like he wanted? According to his words, he shouldn't be feeling sad that hye yeon didn't pick him but happy that jin woo didn't waver infront of tough competition. Idc if anyone admits it or not but hye yeon clearly has the advantage over jin woo when it comes to looks.

I don't believe his words. He's usually a very open person but I suspect this is where he lied. That scene with hye yeon wasn't just like 'aww she didn't choose me? doesn't matter. jinwoo would be my pick anyway even if you did' but it was more like 'why didn't you choose me. I would've accepted your invite if you did. I'm not happy that you didn't choose me'
AHHH seung ho was clearly not happy being picked by jin woo this time even if he said otherwise in the interview. What a bummer! Yep! This had to happen just when I started to make myself believe in their 'spark'. Even hye yeon had an angry look on her face during her date for not picking seung ho but she tried to divert eun chae's attention by keeping the conversation alive through the most mood buster topics. Wasn't first date with other person supposed to be fun and just being in present with them than regretting your decison so obviously. I feel bad for eun chae.
It was hard to believe at first that young kyu would really accept the invite from chaebe. Seeing young kyu so completely dumbfounded by chaebe's enthusiastic wooing was mildly amusing. Chaebe was probably not even the last person he expected to have a crush on him. Their date was nice. I wanted more of them. Too bad it had to be cut short. I do hope there's more to see of them in the next ep. I believe these guys are feeling more awkward around eachother because they share a bed and not because of the other stuff. Clearly none of them saw it coming XD and now they're not sure how to deal with itðŸ˜. It is either gonna be really fun to watch it or could turn up bad :(
Ayo the date I was excited the most about didn't exactly landed the way I wanted it to. Such a nice theme and it went to complete waste. Hee jin was too aggressive in showing her disinterest. She shouldn't have accepted the date in first place if that was the real case. There could be a number of playful ways to suggest how you like your things get done on a dating show. Also, hee jin isn't any less of a duplicate than hye yeon when it comes to saying one thing and doing another. I can safely say that Idc anymore about this ship anymore. It is doomed to sink but somehow su jin is still hung up on her and I would hate to see that so gonna skip them from now on.
This shouldn't have had just 10 eps. I'm genuinely happy with everything here (characters and their arcs, casting, the set, the color palette) but where the hell is the thing which I came here for? Don't tell me they're going to waste all their effort put into this by producing a half-assed ending to conclude the show hastily. This was easily making it's way into my fav list and it has been forever since a show made me feel this hyped for a weekly release which is why it makes me feels more sad about feeling unsure whether it will really make it there.
I didn't like how fl chose to sever her bloodline just to be with a guy. Like, it's damn fantasy man. You can create the 'cure' out of thin air and it would be considered fine cause again it's FANTASY. They just had to dumb down fl to make ml shine then what's even the point? better to exclude romance and 'friend groups' if the purpose is to just show ml as an invincible god. It's so bad that I'm not even curious to check out the novel.
Youyue was more useful than any of the other. Screenwriter was more attentive in writing her arc than even main ml and fl. It was indeed a nonsense drama.

Many dramas with a prodigy mc but this is the first time where I've heard mc's name way too many times that I've become sick of hearing it and now actively despise it. Eveyone in this seems to be in a trance where all they remember to chant is mc's name and are completely devoid of rationality. This made me think if it was actually adapted from a fan fic. It would be nice if some characters were highlited as much as him to balance it. That's one way to make a viewer tired of a character or atleast me. Idk why they bothered to give 6 people main roles when they're definitely much less favoured in the storyline itself. Mmc would always be part of a conversation even if he's not in a scene unlike other mc's.
