Are you sure you’re replying to my comment? Where did I ever mention anything about emotional intelligence? I just compared it with the novel. For me, the novel version is the best; in the drama they just had to make her run away again and make the ML chase her again. If you’re talking about trauma, then only she had it? ML got rejected by her harshly after loving her enough to even travel back and forth from one city to another. Then he kept visiting her without her notice in Yihe as well. After all that, he finally got back together with her, but then again, they had to make her leave again without any explanation, and ML had to search for her everywhere. I understand the things she suffered were the worst, but she had and has the ML giving her warmth. But what about the ML? They made him satisfied only with her presence!

Sorry to disappoint you… I have read it twice and for some parts, even thrice… it adapts as per the novel till 23 and then they changed the last leg completely..!!!

Please read the novel once again if you already have. The novel perfectly covered each aspect perfectly! As for the high EQ thing, if it allows one to keep running and the other to do the chasing always, then sorry, that’s not only high EQ!

For novel readers, they completely ruined it. I mean, I don’t understand why they can’t make a show where both sides invest their feelings equally…😡. According to the novel, the story was great and both of them made enough efforts for each other, but when it comes to the adaptation, they just had to make the ML a simp as always; otherwise, it wouldn’t be called CHINESE drama…🤔!!!

The FL is a serious pain in the *** like you haven’t caused enough problems for the ML and then again she went out after arriving in Tangshua or whatever and the bandit caught her and when ML asked her not to go outside after saving her again she blamed the ML that he left her alone that’s why she went out. I mean can't she understand that she left her there to be safe from that Marshal because it was dangerous there and he was right but she just decided to take a stroll in the market as if they were on a friendly visit.
