won’t spoilt it all but Ui Jeong “to maintain her husbands cover” flirts and kisses Gi Cheol (I’m convinced she just did it for the fun) and Jun Mo has to kiss Hae Ryeon (BiBi) boss to maintain his cover but we know he didn’t enjoy it and he respected her as a human as he helps her escape in the end
Over the course of the drama the ml and fl marriage is questioned due to Jun Mo needing to be loyal for the investigation and Ui Jeong getting intertwined into it all and getting closer and closer to Gi Cheol as he loves her
At the end of the drama Jun Mo cover is blow and after a tense episode Jun Mo has cornered Gi Cheol who tries to kill himself but Jun Mo kills him instead (Gi Cheol was religious and suicide is a sin and Jun Mo knew that is the working theory)
There’s a time jump and the leads are divorced and the ml leaves his wedding band on the other ml grave. The ML and FL also receive a reward for their work and they are distant and cold which is sad as they truly love one another which we see in the start of the drama.
