The second leads break up was a weird one for me. Seung Taek clearly loves her but I understand his reasoning. It’s a noble thing to do as he wants her to live her life with someone ‘normal’.
His reasoning being:
She can’t have a proper wedding, rarely meets friends, her handbag is medical equipment, sh constantly looking after him and visiting the hospital.
It’s a very brave thing to do from Seung Taek but I Seul clearly loves him and is happy doing it.

For me the ending is clearly happy
After rewatching we can see their secret meetings and it’s made clear when they met in the cherry blossom field.
He wearing the suit and coat he was wearing when they ‘ignored’ one another in the hallway but without a tie implying he rushed there for her.
Also from other intro clips they showed was them meeting while she was on her global tour with the band.
Japan crossroads being the main one for me. As they mentioned her Japanese concert being a big one.
Good drama 10/10 and a happy ending
