It makes me mad how people focus on the nudity and completely miss the point of this. It’s a movie that you need to really read into to grasp all the little details. And it’s made BEAUTIFULLY. For those who disliked it I just gotta say: You just don’t get it. Also, I read the manga a while back and gotta say that everyone involved in this movie did an amazing job. I was left with less questions than with reading the manga and was able to understand it’s meaning better. Also, the actors did perfect.
Damn, I thought it was a series of its own and it started off so strong, thought I found an amazing series to watch. And then I realized it was only a spin-off of a series that I dropped and that it has only 2 ep. I’m so dissapointed.😭
So…I want to watch it but can’t handle bad endings. Can someone tell me at what episode I should stop watching so that I can pretend there never was a sad ending pls?

I totally agree! I think some people fail to view this series in this way. I guess some people are bored by how realistic it actually is when it actually teaches so many life lessons. Personally, I love myself a series like that, I have some family trauma as well and seeing them is just such a healing experience. Not all series have to be overly dramatic and unrealistic, it’s good that there are also gems like this out there.
I just finished ep 8 currently and I LOVE IT. I’m surprised by how much I like it, it may seem just like some boring average drama which I myself thought at first but it’s not. It’s perfect in its simplicity and I love the pacing, so I never get bored and it’s not rushed and overly dramatic either. Usually I dislike shows like that because I get bored, annoyed and drop it. But it’s different here. I especially love the topics about familiy, personal growth and time that are thematised here. And I grew fond of the characters, which I love, they just somehow seem so real, also in their wishes and struggles. They’re not just characters in a series with unrealistic traits (besides wealth lol) who usually annoy me (especially female leads who are mostly portrayed as some kind of baby who can’t take care of themselves and try to act cute but look weird doing so) but just normal people. And that’s what makes it so likeable for me.
I love it a lot, but personally I don’t really feel the chemistry between Bit Na and Da On. It was good at first, while they secretly liked each other, but then, after they told each other about their feelings I felt like it wasn’t it anymore. Like the showmakers couldn’t make them express it properly? I felt like it completely died off in the end when she went away for two years, and when she returned, I couldn’t really feel any passion anymore. At least for sure not enough passion to make someone want to stay with someone until death in the world of the living.But I guess it’s okay since romance isn’t necessarily the most important part of the show.
Don’t get the people who complain about the ml not doing much and call him useless. That’s supposed to be this way since he’s not the main focus in this series, it’s Bit Na. The series is about her in the first place. It’s always this way that the love interest of the main is less important and does less. Y’all are just not used to the powerful one being a woman lol.
Just wow, it exceeded all my expectations so far and seems like it will continue to do so. I adore it SO much. One of the best series this year. It’s super interesting, intriguing and well-built and I especially love the female lead, she’s strong and not annoying like sadly most are, the actress is doing an amazing job. The anticipation is killing me, I kinda regret having started watching it while it’s still airing.
Didn’t know there was another series and am sooooo disappointed and sad about the ending cuz I had high hopes they’d tell each other about their feelings by the end of the movie 😭😭😭 I hate time skips

You know, I found audio version of 16th episode and I can tell you IM GLAD IT ENDED AT 15. What happens after is the worst psycho f-ed up shit possible. DO NOT TRY TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENS AFTER AND BE CONTENT WITH THIS ENDING OF THE SERIES EVEN IF ITS A CLIFFHANGER CAUSE ITS FOR THE BEST. I’m not gonna tell any details but Gu Hai is a Crazy Psycho who deserves to be locked up in prison! And looking back now Bai Luo Yin should have ran the moment met him. Sorry if I ruined the good impression of anybody but I just think you need to know.
nah bro I just started watching ep 6 and wtf this was my last straw I’m dropping this sh1t just when I was happy to finally get an uncensored Chinese bl they waste it on this atrocity just so disgusting and toxic I really hoped it would get better but it got worse with each episode really DONT recommend watching
not the camera angle 😂, thought we left that in the past. They’re literally getting married and we still don’t get just a peck on the lips actually shown, side-couple had no problem with it though. With all due respect to the actors, how can you literally play a gay couple getting married and seriously still be afraid of just a peck on the lips. But putting that aside I loved it.
