I really hope that he's been letting wuhuan get away with it, because he's just that much stronger than her and could just snap his finger and destroy her. Or the world better be blowing up soon unless BJ sacrifices himself and that's why he cant deal with shang gu too.

Haha, I can deal with the angst between the leads and the miscommunications. It's the anticipation of watching WuHuan finally get knocked down a peg that has me at the edge of my seat :P

I feel like all those comments are just "heat of the moment" comments. I think everyone recognizes the intentions that Bai Jue has for Shang Gu/Hou Chi. While he could have went about it much better, he's reaping what he sowed from this plan of his.

Sigh, that seems to be the case for most BL dramas lol.

Communication is the bane of all dramas doncha know? haha. If characters communicated like adults, 98% of dramas would have never existed!

There's a moment in ep 43 where I think Bai Jue is talking to Tian Qi about his regrets that things got out of hand and how sorry he was to Qing Mu/Houchi/Gu Jun. Like mentioned above, I think he had good intentions from the start, but he didn't account for Wu Huan to be such a bitch during his Qing Mu years. I think it just got to the point where he couldn't turn back and he needed to finish out his plan. That's not to say what he did is forgiven, but I don't think there was any malicious intent behind it either.

My understanding is that he didn't actually take all 81 thunder strikes right? Which is why he didn't ascend to be a god?

Can someone explain what was going on in Ep 32? When Bai Jue went with Gu Jun to get another spear? He saw Bo Xuan in that underwater tomb? So is Bai Jue like a shadow clone or something?

I feel like that was going to be pretty obvious. He's the "black sheep" in the family. We see that the oldest son and the daughter are both manipulative people, and Jing Jian was the only one who listened to reason and was more like his dad.

Ah I see, so these early episodes are all still the "prologue" and she hasn't sacrificed herself yet (as said in the synopsis). I was under the impression that this was afterwards and that BJ just hadn't recognized her new reincarnation.
