This drama is so rich in its storytelling, including the story of the side characters (and I have never cared about side characters). Hope they handle the mystery around the ML with just as much care.
I am enjoying this short drama. Love the vibe between the leads. Love the ML. Would love to see him in longer length dramas. And this had better have a happy ending. Otherwise I am going to flip some tables:)
My guess: He is the actual boyfriend from long distance....yet they didn't get a chance to meet. They bonded online from a distance. The explosion brought things to a halt. The gap in his memory is her. And I could be totally wrong. :)
Just finished episode 5, and I don't know what to think about this story. HOWEVER, I don't think Xaio Bei is as simple and innocent as he seems. He may be setting up the FL. Time will tell.
Okay. This is shaping up to be very interesting. I like the interaction between the two leads, and I am curious about what happened to her. As for the FL's friend...um...something ain't right.
This was really good. Acting was great. The story had so much to consider, especially the juxtaposition of wealth and poverty, status and what people think will bring it, how we all participate in the system, how we think things and status will bring meaning and identity, how status changes people...the list is long. It was well done and provided a lot to consider.
Those college friends need to go. Good wrap-up with SML. Glad it happened in front of the so-called college friends, so that they are also clear on where things stand. With that said, I want a little more relationship coverage. It doesn't have to take up the whole episode, but the other stuff seems to be a filler, but then maybe they are trying to wrap-up all the side stories. Anyway, I found myself skipping a few scenes in these two episodes. Still love the drama and it is on my rewatch list.
Such a lovely drama. I don't so much care about the shenanigans around the few crazy family members. I like the relationship development from getting to know each other, to that first kiss (as to be expected, she was so shy with it) to the continued deepening together. This is not a " I saw you, I fell in love with you, and now let's jump to the full out expression. They are still getting to know each other. It's just lovely to watch, for --unless the writers lose their minds, I sense that they are building a strong foundation (trust, respect, communication, etc) to handle what may come from the few crazies around them. I just hope the writers don't lose this lovely aspect in the midst of the rise of crazy. :). And this is just my 2-cents from my perspective.
My smile is wide. I love the natural way they are moving into this relationship and how they look at each other. Especially the way he looked at her when she approached him at the dinner event. With that said, I saw the previews for upcoming episodes, and I'm wondering if Cdramas use white trucks like kdramas, because I need to rent two of them for Darth Vader, and the dad. LOL
I felt the same but half way through his trip, i understood why it was written into the script. In the novel,…
I can empathize also. I felt an immense sadness in his character during the early episodes, and I am glad that they explored the impact of what had happened to him...and the lie that put all this stuff in motion. He needed to process in order to move forward....for himself and for her. I also love the way the FL gave him space. And when he returned, she called him out on not asking her about it. Love the maturity of these two characters.
The gap in his memory is her.
And I could be totally wrong. :)
Dear Writers, please, please don't throw crazy into the mix.
