It's super normal for actors to not wanting to get stuck in the same genre/role.. I don't get why all this fuss about, just because it's a BL? Let's not assuming right away it's an attack to the LGBT community bla bla bla... Come on, growing as an actor does mean getting out of portraing the same thing over and over. If he doesn't have that intention, why stuck to BL genre? Is not even like he said he wouldn't do it for life... I also wanted to see them in this 2nd season but we have to respect the actors wishes. People don't respect each others intentions, sadly, specially when it comes to popular figures. They become demanding... Like, get a life will ya?

This Drama has been amazing so far with great acting!... So sad to hear about Hyun Kim's health, I'm once more in love with him, we can see how much passion and work he puts into his character, and now he's leaving.. :( hope he recovers, he has so much to give!

I agree, regarding the main actor who's playing Phana.. I don't even find him that handsome to be sincere... Wayo is not great but ok to watch, but yes I have to say I can't wait for the 2nd season so that I can watch Kit and Ming, they have much more real acting. They have chemistry as well, and though they don't have much screen time they are the conquerors of the serie for me.

The problem is that, as you can see, many of your recommendations aren't from recent Dramas.
Old JDramas are very nice indeed! I miss them so much! But nowadays they lost track, they haven't developded as much. That's why the KDramas have much popularity these days. When I start watching Dramas 10 years ago, I remember searching for JDramas like crazyyy ahah when I were to pass by a KDrama I would even ignore it!! Cuz all I wanted was the japanese Drama. I really really enjoyed Japanese Dramas by the time~ but now Korean Dramas are much better and it's an easier world for one to enter and explore. Right now Japan blocks 99% of their entertainment industry, it's not free like it was in the past. I remember watching japanese shows, concerts of japanese bands and so on. Nowadays it's all protect by owners right, but too much, like a really big barrier. KPop is more accessible and available. You're more invited nowadays to get to know their culture.

Deixei de ver lol exageram MUITO na cotação que dão ao Drama, na minha opinião. Só achava piada ao motorista(?), esse tinha partes engraçadas. De resto não me cativou muito, e acabei de deixar a mais de metade do Drama lol típico meu :P
