A BL beyond just getting together
This one stands out from the crowd. As a BL drama with an actual plot beyond just being about love. I was not just watching for the main leads to get together but i was also hooked onto knowing the other plot points. What all of these people are gonna do after graduation, the senior year fatigue is real. Finding jobs and shitting friends, who appear as friends but belittle you and never try to understand what you might be going through. As for the relationship between the leads, it is ever so beautiful. It is not the typical push and pull or some other cliche. It seems natural , beautiful and also very heart warming. The cute moments they have together are very much spontaneous and very much make you giggle, kick your feet kind of thing without being abusive or by crossing the line without consent.
The actors bring certain charm to their character and the cinematography and direction is a treat to watch.
The way when the character is depressed , everything is darker, there are shadows everywhere and then when things are happier its lit and bright.
Also shoutout to the therapy sessions, instead of trauma dumping on the partner, its great to see the ml going through therapy taking advice and trying things out for himself. The therapist was very much shown from a professional pov.
I really enjoyed this a lot and also choi aera and the yoon woon are the gems of women seen in bl. They were quitely supporting and understanding without making it a big weird thing.
I wish this was how all the bls were and not the nonsense that is produced in abundance every year.
