oh I deeply understand this. it’s actually my first time reading the novel first before watching the drama (for a cdrama). comparing can’t really be avoided in cases like this. I’m just hoping I would somehow forget the happenings in the novel when it aired esp from the reuters shown till now there’s a lot of revisions going on.

I really reco reading the novel now that there is already a fix cast cus you can definitely imagine both portraying the character and they’re perfectly casted. I finished reading in 3 days for the 90+ chapters.

Really excited and looking forward for her portrayal of Mingshu of My Queen My Rules. After reading the novel, I can really imagine her slaying it, she fits the visual description so well and having to have seen her act as a Princess in Coroner’s Diary she really has that royalty vibe in her.

Yes, I also love Mingshu’s character development. The way she acknowledges that she was so out of touch of the reality of common people bc of her upbringing. She’s such a sweetheart who has been babied all her life so it was understandable. I love her dynamic with her friends too. And also they really have such PASSIONATE ROMANCE 🔥

He pretty much had an amazing character development to the point I was surprised with what he’s done. Once he acknowledged his emotions and accepted it, he became such a family man. But still has the very fr3aky alpha persona on closed door bedroom.

his visual, height definitely suits the cold roles. he can very much portray it so well too. just forget his image as pengpeng in your mind and it’s good to go 🤭

if that’s true, i don’t think it can affect the drama cus the fl is also so rich. all the romance are with rich families so far, only tackling about the financial gap from different aspects of life
