Some people are crazy _without_ being fans. Most of them have no choice. Paid attention-seekers seek attention from everyone, regardless!!! If they stumble upon a crazy "fan" they may get into trouble, but that's a risk they assumed they could take when they signed that stupid contract for attention-seeking. It's a job. Some jobs are riskier than others. Some people will still choose those jobs. They do it for the money they can get on the job... I'm afraid it's people like you who don't get the point here. He is in that for the money. There's a whole system set up around stalking-triggering activities that promotes him to be The One, then some people actually start stalking him & guess what, he realizes he can't stand it but still wants the money.
