I like slow burns , but it should get interesting sometimes to keep people interested. Jus too much business stuff gets boring. You mentioned love like the galaxy i loved that one start to finish. Maybe i liked the leads more there and cast was perfect.

Yeah its a good for sure on those counts. Too much business stuff i think. In my opinion but a lot of drama is like that. I was interested for awhile maybe it just at a dragging part now .

Im trying to like this. Yang zi is a favorite for period drama. But im so bored most of it and skipping thru a lot of it. Thought it would get more interesting so i giving it a shot to episode 20... but still same old stuff. Anda slow burn romance. I heard there will be a part 2 like 32 episodes isnt enough? Think they could sum up the whole thing in 24 episodes.

not too many interesting dramas right now . havent even seen a good korean one lately. finished cdrama Blossom and loved it all and had a good ending! started Moonlight Mystique for Ao Rui Peng hes very good and the cinematography is beautiful. im finally in the double digits (ep 10) . not really interested in the fox illusion story... need more episodes so i can skip stuff lol . only care about the romance and shuos revenge bc she deserves some.

i loving this so far but that cliff hanger for ep 6 needs to be resolved but they making me wait a day on Viki! why didnt she just go straight to mr jiang to be an accountant in Chang an . spelling? anyways great series love Yang Zis costume drama lately.

i loved it for a long time now its gone stale and one episode a day if that... dragging too much and the little brother is annoying . might wait til all episodes are out to come back to it. Liu Yun Rui fast becoming my favorite chinese actor.

i tried to watch this today but honestly feel no real chemistry with them . i cant find a BL with the same chemistry as TharnType or KinnPorsche. they were fire. havent found a good one since them just my opinion.

if you a fan can check on it now and then yourself and google it, i find out fromfb groups or reels.

i like zhao lusi a lot and seen most her dramas and like them but to me i dropped Pearl Girl, when it got too predictable and they got too many sad episodes and then went to do business. think i dropped around ep 26. i might finish it but skip to the good parts haha

im binge ing on viki, on episode 13, can someone please spoil who killed Duke Ding Mos uncle? i have a feeling who it is, i mean why didnt he just question the emperor immediately. ? im just anxious to know faster than the reveal haha

i love Lin Yu Rui in this! glad hes getting main lead roles! saw him in love like galaxy and last immortal. hes great! loved his look more in the first episode with the long colored hair!

i loved it. not sure if id call it a happy ending as others have said , its not necessarily bad but it was left open for interpretation. he completely forgot her and disappeared for three years and we dont know what happened to him and she tries to jog his memory and then he showed up to a festival she invited him to but they dont really talk so we dont know if they stay together or what. so we have to assume it worked out. wish there was a more conclusive episode.
