Lol “LGBTQ agenda” 🙄 just someone who isn’t white, white passing and straight existing on TV is always…
Hello. I don't think that's what larami meant... The comment was more about how certain people call putting people who aren't white and/or straight in a show an 'agenda,' and the 'straight' part is what was being referred to. When in reality, if showrunners are allowed to "throw" in [for one example] straight people, it's nonsense to think they can't do that with everyone else. :)

BLs aren't meant to be LGBTQ+ representation, they're fantasies. the whole genre was created by women and it is…
It depends very greatly, actually. Plenty of BL feature gay, bi, pan or any dudes who are used to or eventually used to being into dudes. Especially these days, but there are the older ones that do, too. Most of the ones with dudes that are as described above are written by women and girls, too. Plus, quite a few BL are written with writing good queer characters in mind but also partly or even mostly writing something that's hot and/or cute. BL in general has already been changing for a while.

I think it's hilarious that people who only want to see "straight" guys smushed into each other thought they were going to have a space to themselves when in a lot of countries, people in general who hate or love BL look at guys who like guys as well as any media with guy x guy stuff through the lens of BL/BL's reputation, as that's what is the most out there for guy x guy stuff. That's changing, too, but it's still the case with so many people. In my opinion shows/movies/books where "straight" guys fall for other guys (or toxicity is meant to be enjoyed) can still exist, but there is no real way to completely separate your rigid definitions of BL and gay dramas. The lines are blurred a good amount of the time at this point...

Also, I guess these... fictional people can identify however they want. There's no need for the dudes to call themselves gay, bi, pan or another label. But it makes less than no sense for them to call themselves straight... Eh, whatever.

Anyway, while I understand many commenters' worries about Phayu's behavior, I don't think it's unacceptable to show fictional guys we're supposed to like with very questionable behavior. People are allowed to express their disappointment or their enjoyment. There are some glorified characters with possible or clear sexually abusive behavior... some that I like and some I dislike. I'm here to see fantasy stuff I may or may not condone in real life, so I guess it just has to be either done well enough imo or... hot enough. Whoops. I have some other problems with this show, but I mostly want to get the image of Phayu angrily spanking Rain's butt like he's literally punishing a small child he knows well enough, and Rain just lying there limp, out of my head. Man, is that weird. I tried to imagine Rain didn't realize he was into it, but that doesn't even make it less weird.

Hahaha! You're quoting me? And yes, this series tries to appear smarter than it is. I agree with almost everything…
:D

I'm wondering whether or not this series will be more supernatural mystery, more romance or somehow both worked in almost equally. Any of those are fine with me.

Interesting comment, underboard. I understand where you are coming from, although our opinions differ. I agree…
Yes, perfect! Different shows or whatever else rub different people in different ways, and that's really cool. Haha, I love Bad Buddy along with so many others, with its basic plot and awesome execution. But that doesn't mean I think every single person should find the execution good.

I'm saying the obvious with that, but I was so worried my comment would come off to someone who replied as trashing people who enjoy the show or implying their reasons to love it aren't more than valid. Thanks. :D

I agree with another comment [user: Pincolino] that this series tries to appear smarter than it is, and that the ones playing students are acting well with what they are given, but not the adults. I'm no expert critic at all, and I'm glad that many people are happy and enjoying their time watching this. I'm just leaving my opinion in a sea of comments.

--The series trying to appear smarter than it is: Multiple scenes rub me the same way as this scene part in episode one p1: The main friend group is having a meal in one of their rooms. They're talking about some information the main guy dug up on the new kid. They're all suspicious of him transferring from their rival school at a strange time, apparently. One friend is pretty much like, "Wait a minute! In the movies I watch, the characters always have a goal and a motive to do something! :o [waving around his pointed finger]."MC: "Soooooooooo, we have to find his motive, right?" [Other friend, still pointing his fingers around and looking really invested] "Right!" ...And there's some kind of "thinking" music playing throughout this part, with "cool" sound effects to accompany certain EXTREMELY basic quotes. That whole part of the conversation was useless because they were already suspicious of him and wanted to know what his deal was with transferring from a rival school. They didn't need to be inspired by movies to start wondering about someone's motives. Why was it framed like some sort of "Aha!" moment?

--Trying to be more serious than it is: I'm not yet sold on the dangers that are incoming or already there. I can get caring about school uniforms, but the music over it is very overly-suspenseful. The music is that way in almost every part, actually. I want to get over the action music that plays over uniform squabbles-- by waiting for how that complements the more serious aspects of the show-- but it really isn't working for me right now. It's one of the reasons I'm not compelled to continue.

There was a scene transition in ep1 part 2 that happened right after nothing but Aye(?) flirting with Akk(?) and then looking at a book that we don't yet know how dangerous or important it is. The next scene is just talking about the accident that almost happened. It's serious, but there just wasn't enough suspense or a sense of looming danger for that student council+staff meeting built up to justify the subsequent scene transition's dark music and the camera being out of focus for more effect [in my opinion, of course!]. This also carries over to how I feel about too many scenes in this so far.

--At first I thought that all the acting was making me cringe. And, I guess it is. But I think the ones playing students are doing a good job. It's just that the characters were made to say things under constant annoying/unjustified music and sound effects, with more cheesy editing (which I can even sometimes like, but not here), and some awkward/out-of-place lines imo... Also, the very beginning of episode 1 seems like a trailer, + I have mixed feelings on how Aye likes Akk to chase him around even though he was never scared of being caught, lmao. I'm sure that fits into his character, somehow, but, anyway: The way this show is put together so far doesn't fit with how seriously it seems I'm supposed to take it.

--Again, I often like shows that have a lot of cheesiness and/or don't have (in my opinion) the best editing by a long shot. It doesn't come together for me here. Everyone else's excitement is somehow pulling me in, though. I want to see if I'll come to like it, just in case.

Title KinnPorsche
There are a lot of issues in the final episode and in the show, but not enough for me to think they're 'bad.' KinnPorsche is definitely memorable and different! Before watching and while only the first 2 or 3 episodes were out, I thought the story would be mainly action, and that the romance (and daily life w no action, and the comedy) would take up much less of it. But the series is literally called ship name "KinnPorsche," and it's based off of a romance novel, so... What was I thinking? Haha, this show was nice, very nice. And a mess. Anyway...

I'm not as crazy for VegasPete as many on here, but they're still precious. No way they couldn't be. The very end of the last scene, when Macau joined them, completely has my heart and topped off the entire last episode for me nicely. Look at those three!

KinnPorsche's romance had me feeling like I was on cloud nine for some episodes, and then I had had too much of them and begged for more VegasPete and KimChay. Porsche and Kim still make me really happy, though. They're idiots who make some stupid decisions, but young idiots dealing with a lot of danger and chaos. They probably handle their situation waaaaay better than an average person would. They're also my second favorite pairing in the show.

The couple I thought I would always find out of place and hard to imagine was KimChay... But now they're somehow my favorite pairing in this show! I want more of them. I don't know what happened to me. I'm personally satisfied with the romance I've seen from both VegasPete and KinnPorsche, and don't exactly want more of them.

The only thing I'm curious to see from those two pairings now is how Korn and whoever else will screw them up, and how they deal with it. For KimChay, I want to see them being happy and cute together some more. Well, I guess they're the only ones with an open ending, so of course I want to see them actually become a thing (or, a thing for more than one night to morning, if they were together at that time).

Porsche being the minor family's boss was too weird for me at first, but... That's a very interesting way to have everything fall into Korn's hands. He sucks. I love that. Porsche and Chay's mom being alive (and perhaps looking the same age as Porsche) had this feeling like an entire other kind of show. Well, let's see. Someday.

At the moment it's KinnPorsche and My secret love ( not to be confused with Secrent crush ). My Secret Love is…
I don't know why, but My Secret Love is my favorite BL that's airing (that I watch). It just makes me the happiest, I guess? I usually save my favorite show for last on Saturdays, which is when I watch all or most of the shows for the week. But for the last few weeks, I've saved My Secret Love to watch after KinnPorsche.

I totally agree. Daonuea is annoying. The haunted house doesn't scare him but the ride too scary to go on? And…
Yes, his childishness level somehow went up. I guess showing him with the big, colorful lollipop was purposeful.

Title Even Sun
This show has things it's doing not-so-well and things it's doing well, in my opinion. But, I guess that's every show. Also... I like Sun's hair. It's distracting, but it somehow really suits him. Weird.

Anyway, the first episode was boring at times, and there are things that have me confused, but I forgot what I was confused about the second I finished watching, whoops. But, this initial set up of relationships + the visuals suiting the characters/story makes it seem like this has potential.

I thought I'd already be overwhelmed by the amount of characters (the super-long opening theme seems to show 500 dudes, but it actually seems like we've been introduced to quite a few already. Most, right?). The characters have been introduced in a way so far that isn't overwhelming at all.

I'm not completely sure about the dialog in the scene with Nemo and his boyfreind, but I think their anger was acted out well. Ashing's anger when he was yelling at Mangkorn, too. I don't understand the situation with Ashing's dad, though.

I like Tae, but sometimes his character here seems both over and under-acted and out of place. I don't know. I'm not one to critique these things very well. All that really matters is how much I enjoy it. Also, I initially thought I would be bored by the main pairing, but I'm already not, and right now they're just angry strangers. Good. I want to see more of Talay, too.

Anyway, I can chill and watch this.

Alright, so. I've already given up on actually thinking Nine or Candy are good people. Do I have a problem? I've completely forgiven Tee. I wouldn't be surprised if Tee cheated again, though, looking at this show.

Dao just gets on my nerves. I personally think he's the least awful out of himself, Candy and Nine. He easily slept with a guy he acts like he can't stand while he and Tee were in a trial relationship or whatever that was. Now that they're actually together, though, I think it'll be harder for him to cheat. I'll wait. He probably will. For now, I just wish he would be less jumpy and giddy. He doesn't look "old" or anything, and I think he's cute, but... too old for the way he acts sometimes. But, I dunno. I guess some adults will simply act cutesy and react childishly. It's not really working to me with him most of the time, though. Just... Yikes.

Nine? Ignored someone he said he would contact for three months because he wanted to fix things with his girlfriend. Suddenly entered a company he seemingly knew his one night stand crush worked in, persistently tries to get with him while the girlfriend he says he ignored him for is still his girlfriend. Has sex with the stupid guy. Sees that the guy is getting ready to get back with his ex and persists some more, says that he won't stop until the guy makes it clear he's with another guy. The guy makes it clear, and he flails him around, throws him into the wall and forces an aggressive kiss on him. Not long before, he told the stupid guy he didn't care about his old friend, then tried to act like a good friend to that old friend. In this episode after getting rejected, he calls for an escort-- something he seemed to have stopped doing when he got with his girlfriend. He's still with his girlfriend. Ah, he doesn't have the right person (gf or dude he's acting like he's really serious with) all over him right now; send away the escort. Wow, so thoughtful, right? No. He has these random moments where it's like he's regretful and cares about others' feelings... And then he does nothing to follow through on being a better person who isn't simply trying to satisfy himself. What is he trying to convince himself?

Candy... Ohhh, boy. She's such a good friend to Nine. Good for those two. He doesn't even have to ask her to scan the situation and check things out; she's already ready. Only Praew has to ask her to help before she helps. She wants to be there for Praew if Nine leaves her, and tells Nine to follow his heart and confess to his crush-- not minding her business or staying in her place at all. But she tells Praew nothing. Can't be because she's trying to mind her business! Is it because of how Nine says she'll act if she's dumped? I guess that means she can be treated in whatever way behind her back, then. Candy mentions a negative situation with her ex she thought was cheating... RIGHT after making a joke about the company Nine sees when his girlfriend/her "best friend" Praew is away. Still all smiles. You don't care about cheating. Don't pretend you do.

Nine and Candy (and I guess Dao, I'm sure he'll get worse but he's not much more than a simple irritant right now imo) being awful would seem better done if they didn't try to act like they cared more about others' feelings than what actually makes sense for their characters so far. They're so consistently inconsiderate.

I like this series, to be honest. It feels like it took 8 hours for me to finish episodes 2 and 3 today, and I have mixed feelings. I'm not interested in seeing any nudity; I wasn't expecting it initially. I only just noticed the 'R' rating. What the heck? Anyway, whatever.

Okay, so. The story isn't good so far, and sometimes I can't stand their acting, but sometimes I love it. Of course, I love Boat like most watchers. I also want Nine and Dao to take some kind of responsibility for literally sexing the hard drive off of the table and allowing Boat to be blamed for it, lmao. They can just say they knocked it down another way.

I love the chemistry of the four guys in the office. They fit together perfectly in my opinion, and I'm annoyed that they'll add someone else or more people. These four have some pretty hilariously precious moments. Speaking of precious moments, I liked the montage of Praew and Nine, even with her being annoying. Speaking again of being annoying, haha, Daonuea is the most annoying character here. I almost can't stand him. And yet, I enjoy him.

Nine is hilarious. I was actually worried that the writers would come up with some overly-dramatic reason to try and justify why he didn't respond to Dao for three months. Pha in Gen Y 2 had a terminal illness and made a not-so-thoughtful decision to just... not tell his boyfriend and disappear. Before finding out he had a terminal illness, I was thinking the only thing that could make that forgivable was for Pha to be a super-spy, laying low while saving the world from danger or some mess.

Nine's reason to ignore Dao? He just said for the 9,078th time that he had to 'travel and relax.' 'Travel and chill.' 'Travel and rest.' Oh, and that his situation with his girlfriend wasn't sorted out. As if it is now, while he's bothering the shate out of Dao. Good for him. I love his smirk. He sucks.

I can deal with all the cheating, but it would be nice if it were done better. If enough from this show comes together, then mending in parts of the story where people we're supposed to root for cheat won't be impossible.

I personally felt something when Dao cheated(?) on Tee. To me, it looks like Dao has real feelings for Tee and thinks Nine is hot, interesting and mysterious. I love Tee and Dao's relationship/chemistry and actually wish they would end up together in the end. Dao's whining kind of goes well with Tee's calm gaze back at him, and Tee is too sweet. I almost can't imagine him being a cheater. So, when they showed Dao and Nine messing up the table while Tee was preparing a great time for he and Dao, I was sad, and equally entertained. But, how does seeing someone without officially being with them work? Is it possible to cheat on them? I have no idea. Anyhow, Tee of course wasn't anticipating Dao hooking up with someone else...

I don't think this show offered just saucy scenes and nothing else. Weren't there like, two across multiple hours (and shown a few times)? I guess they're important to the plot, but I don't feel like the show is just those, so I don't understand comments that imply that it's just for scenes with hot guys. If the issue is that it bored people so much that the show seems to be reduced to mainly saucy scenes, then... I understand that! I also think it's fine if there are viewers who are just looking for something hot. Your fictional entertainment tastes are for you! Escape. I want to escape this show, but I'm being dragged in. It may be a drag sometimes, but I want to see how it turns out.

Lastly, Nine's friend. She seems like she's trying to be a good friend. She says she needs to be by Praew's side, and she'll be the only one left for her if Nine leaves her. But she can't do so much as tell this friend she cares about that her boyfriend has feelings for someone else. Does she feel like it isn't her place to do that? She already pried all she could into the situation Nine's feelings and suggested he should tell his crush that he likes them... And not think as much about his own girlfriend/her own friend's feelings....... Nine also seemed like he was trying to be such a good friend to Tee while they were having their little drunk heart to heart and catch-up. This was not long after he told Dao he doesn't care about Tee. Again, good for Nine. Gooood for him, lmao.
