Does anyone experience the same problem while watching a bunch of dramas at the same time. Especially when they…
I get that! I was watching this week's episode, and when the FL was buying drinks at the convenience store for them to drink together, I was thinking the whole time that he was super lightweight and it was weird that she was buying that many bottles. But then I realized I was mixing this drama's male lead with the one from My Sweet Mobster
I really liked that Ji Ung followed her in the opening scene, and was protective of her because in some dramas the male lead could see that "hug", misunderstand, and just leave. However, he stayed, said she obviously needed to go to the hospital, and even checked her lab results.
So it seems as if the killer is going to be that new intern, the doctor, but there's got to be more to this story, as there are still many episodes left. Is there going to be two separate culprits? Is it possible that some of the women who were kidnapped are still alive? Also, is the aging really affecting Mi Jin, and if so, will it speed up the need for her to break the curse? I'm not sure that would be interesting though, as they already have a lot of investigating, and relationships to develop.
This drama is doing a nice balance between mystery/suspense, comedy, and romance, very well written in my opinion. Sometimes, when there are multiple genres they don't mix well, but here it is working! Also, the entire cast is really good!
So, at the end of episode 7, she was really "drunk", but she is actually an excellent drinker, so I think maybe the killer drugged her, he was probably inside the bathroom too, right? And maybe he is aware that in her older version, she looks like her aunt, who disappeared, and the killer is most likely responsible for that as well, as that's why he is also trying to approach her during the day...
Do you have any thoughts regarding that ending scene? Where Rowoon is burying the spell books. Like, I saw that some people thought he wrote the blue book (with the light/random spells) to hide the red book. It's an interesting theory, which would mean any of the spells Jo Bo Ah casts, in the beginning, wouldn't work (only as a placebo if you believed in it). Wanted to check what you are all thinking about that :)
Also, finally finished the drama, and I really liked it. I think they handled the past/present storylines very well. If this drama was set during their past lives it would have been so sad (yet tragically beautiful too). Anyway, loved the actors and the production.
Okay, now they've established that they knew each other in another life and that something tragic would happen. I'm guessing whatever led to the "red hand" was a dramatic/tragic misunderstanding and that Shin Yu would think he killed her with ill intentions, but it was probably something else. I think it was crucial to start getting into the past lives story, otherwise, they wouldn't have time to develop the narrative properly.
Now, regarding the break-up and Shin Yu's promise to his ex, he could just have told Hong Joo about it, instead of being distant, because, yeah, I get why she would feel insecure about waiting for him, especially when SML is hitting on her and seems to be a nice guy (although, I'm thinking he knows a lot more than he's letting on and is probably related to the stalker issue somehow. He might have been a part of their past life as well, we'll see).
I hope we don't get many misunderstandings in the present timeline, because that would be annoying. Anyway, I like this so far, I like the OST, and the chemistry between the leads and the rest of the cast is working for me. As for the mystery and the spells let's wait and see if we'll be getting good and satisfying answers.
THE BROMANCE! I mean, I'm a huge supporter of the main couple, love them and their scenes, but this episode I was just hoping we'd get a lot of Shi Yeol and San moments! They have the best dynamic and now that the secret's out, it's just perfection. The way Shi Yeol is talking to San, his informal speech and then just kind of adding the "yo" at the end when San is annoyed, love it!
I do wonder how Shi Yeol manages to keep an eye on Kang San and also hang out with Dan Oh sister. Because being the watchman is kinda of a full time job.
I loved the reveal, he's the best character, so many layers!!
I’m so happy CP became king and the fact that he took the throne away from his father was a nice bonus. He is one of my favorite characters. I really loved how present he was in Part 2.
It was a nice way to end the show. Sure, there were things that I wanted/expected to happen that didn’t, but I still really enjoyed the whole experience. I’m really surprised we got a happy ending! I mean, even the teased deaths didn’t happen. I’m glad everyone’s ok in the end.

I hope CP finds his happy ending as the “father” of a wise turtle with good energy.
