Don't misunderstand, it is BL but the romance is censored (that's why there's a tag saying "censored romance." They don't get physically intimate with each other or kiss or confess their love with words because otherwise this drama would get banned by china just like Addicted Heroin season 2.
Even though there's no kissing, straightforward confessing or being intimate, but it gets obvious they love each other so much that it'll give you butterflies and feel warm. They show their love through their eyes, excessive care and worry about each other, the drama passes China laws as a "bromance" but tbh its way too gay for it to be just bromance since even male best friends don't treat each other with so much love. This drama shows true love between two men that flourishes without even needing to be sexually intimate, it'll leave a long lasting impression on you, its a different feel from other BL dramas where the only way to till if they like each other is by kissing, touching, etc. There are many hints that show their love while being disguised as bromance to those who don't know. I don't want to blurt out a spoiler but somewhere in the drama, they do a little hint about something that only family or husband/wife are allowed to do and this conveys how far they feel for each other (again nothing sexual or such). This isn't your typical BL, its better, they go through life and death together. Not to mention how beautiful the story is, all the characters are brought to life, and the effects and cinematography are stunning. Trust me, you really wouldn't wanna miss on this
