I just finished watching this and I have to say 52 episodes aren’t nearly enough. Coming from someone who can’t finish 16 episode dramas if they’re boring. This show is an absolute gem, one of my favorite shows now. Wish I had watched it sooner. Lee Joon is spectacular and now one of my favorites. I haven’t seen an actor seem as realistic as him throughout the show. I want to see him in many more shows. I wish he was awarded for his performance. The entire cast did a great job especially the main cast, I loved Lee Yoo Ri and Kim Yeon Cheol’s performances.
If you’re thinking about watching this, please do and don’t let the number of episodes discourage you. You’ll long to watch more once you’re done.
I’m so glad that I decided to watch this. One of the best shows of this year and one of my all time favorites now. Such a well written and heartwarming story. I loved how each episode was written and linked, one of the best written shows. All the actors did an incredible job and I absolutely loved the end credits. I’ll miss watching this!
I hope YSH has a good part, I saw videos of him of him working very hard on his physique for this. Can’t wait to see one of my favorite actors in my favorite series. Hope they actually release it this year.
Watched the series cause found out there was a 2nd series and had never heard of this show so thought I’d check…
I tried looking for updates because I saw the news of a second season in the works (on some instagram fanpage) Seems like it’s actually happening but it has been postponed to next year.
Before this show started airing, I honestly wasn’t too sure about watching this. I’m so glad that I started watching this, it’s very entertaining and so heartwarming. It has some hilarious moments as well. Cha Hak Yeon was so good in Castaway Diva and also the reason I started watching this. Episode 7-10 please be good! Also, special shout-out to the actors portraying the victims and the supporting actors in every episode.
I want a friend like Gyeong Gu😭 their friendship is so cute! Hosu’s mom is so damn sweet, in kdramas we see so many terrible birth moms, her character is like a breath of fresh air. I always thought Sejin was similar to Miji and they’d make a good pair but his conversations in the last episode (with Mirae) show how perfect they are together. Miji and Hosu are so awkward yet so adorable, I can’t with their handshakes 😂 both the sisters have found their perfect match.
Everyone has acted so well, it’s hard to choose a favorite. I really don’t feel like I’m watching a show, it all feels so real. The grandma is such a sweet person and what a great performance by the actor portraying the character. I hope the last 4 episodes are also this amazing.
Hyeon Ju has always been so supportive of Geumju and for her to be treated like that, pissed me off so much. Imagine being told you’re not good enough by your own lil sister. HJ and her Dad blindly stood by GJ even when her “friends” didn’t.
I don’t understand what’s so wrong about being a divorced single mom (esp in HJ’s case) she’s gorgeous, kind and genuine (clearly a catch) Everyone’s behaving like she’s out after serving a prison sentence. It’s 2025 for crying out loud.
