i think you should still watch season 2 to see how much they have grown :) they've done so much within their capabilities and i'm really proud of them.
we can only hope that in season 3 (if theres any) will be better
Basically, it started with the show posting ads for new members which led to many speculations that the show wants to replace these 10 boys. Reasoning from the show was that the boys wants to focus on their main career (singing/acting), but the boys have mentioned before that they can balance both farming and their main careers at once. The fans then found out that this show was apparently just another time-limited boy group show, like idol producer/chuang except replace singing with farming and that you've skipped past the selection stage, straight to life with the boys.
Amongst searching for the reason why the show might do this, fans found out that these 10 boys actually worked for free in this show, and the company that the boys have started in the show is actually not under these 10 boys at all. This led to many fans feeling deceived and cheated as all along the past 2 seasons, the show really made it seem like the ten boys really owned the company, but in actual fact, they're just workers with no salary, no food. There's also the fact that the show made the boys take on debt to run this farm/company but yet the profits and what not does not go to the boys at all.
Not to mention, the fans also found out about how the show has been treating them pretty badly during the entire filming. From things like gifts from guests on the show "mysteriously" disappearing and not allowing guests to buy the boys too many household necessities, to things like not allowing the boys to use certain areas of their hostel (e.g. gym) until the day's work has been completed (but if you have watched the show, you know how hardworking the boys are).
What's the difference between the 2 seasons? I have yet to start this one...
sorry for the late reply, i think @An_967 has given a detailed explanation of what went down in s1.
but i'd summarise the main difference as:
- in s1, main cast's characters were static (with the exception of one, if i remember correctly, due to them being the murderer), and the cases kinda all ties to one another in one way or another - in s2, the main cast's characters changes as they move throughout the different time zones, each case doesn't seem as intertwined with each other as compared to in s1 (there seems to be an over-arcing plot but unsure the show has yet to end.
- in s1, everyone moves together, collecting evidence together, and debriefed together. - in s2, only the determined detectives get to scour for evidence in the main area of murder, and other evidence regarding the suspects are given by the show's team.
- in s2, there are much lesser NPCs (who plays a significant part) as compared to s1
finally watched the first episode and aaaaaaaaaaaaa tjc's voice really isnt how i envisioned qqc's voice to be :( none of the other castings are living up to my envisions either :((
we can only hope that in season 3 (if theres any) will be better
