"but is writing about rape really a crime?"The way she glorifies definitely should be a crime. There's no such…
@THEtea I've been looking at it that way since the beginning. I also feel like more people need to do the same. You don't have to be oblivious to these things but you also have to be considerate of why others love this author.
I'm not a huge fan of mame but people are saying that she only got famous because of the actors who stared in her series, but If I may correct you. The actors are the ones who got famous through her. Like before LBC I never heard of Perth but I know he's been in other series before it. Through LBC he got fame. And I'm not saying that only Perth I'm talking all of them from gulf to mew, to saint. They all got where they are because of the push her series gave them.
They didn't give her fame. It was a two-way split. Besides She was already famous enough to get her books made into series in the first place. Like how many authors get that opportunity. They clearly see something in her, and you probably do so too. cause why else are you here? She has potential as a writer with or without the rape scenes.
I honestly liked the show, I just hated the side couples, but I also hope they had more screen time. I'd recommend this series to anyone who is into BLs. LBC is a classic the second one was really bad but that's just my biased opinion seeing as Saint wasn't in it.
The show was great I loved watching it, and I would love watching it again. But there were only a few deal-breakers. First of all the characters (Ae and Tin) were a little aggressive. And usually, I wouldn't mind, but when it comes to love I would like to point out the fact that they made pushing your partner around seem like love. that just doesn't work. For all the teens and or younglings watching this show. you have to know that if your partner is aggressive it's not good for the relationship. the next deal breaker was the fact that the show, in general, lacked gay reparation. Maybe it's just me but scenes got really cheesy really quick. When it comes to gay reparation this does not only apply to this show it applies to most BLs. The next deal-breaker is really based on my opinion. The really long stares were unnecessary. Instead of having the main couple look at each other for 10 minutes straight (over-exaggeration), They could have had a few more scenes with the side couples. Then again I would like to mention that I do like this show and I would watch it again and again, and it's the reason why I got so into BLs. I loved everything about Pete and Ae's relationship. It really did make me feel single.
