So every couple is from a different novel? I liked so much the u-prince concept, Many stories were bad but a couple…
I had noticed that Kao wore the same shade of blue but different designs most of the series. I really liked that shade and am trying to get one for my husband :) . Hopefully he will not know that I am inspired by a gay character's wardrobe.
"A human family drama depicting the story of a family of five women " . Is it set in a alien world that it is specified the drama is about a "human" family ?
I am comments after watching only the first episode of this drama. I see the evil step mother tag and to be frank, I do not blame the step mother one bit. Getting blamed for not having a son, a husband who does not visit her even when she is giving birth to his baby and having an affair with staff while she is recuperating, getting accused of not rearing the kids correctly, bad mother in law, having to seep with another man solely for the sake of getting a son, husband is indifferent to her kids, I mean how can we expect that she will treat her illegitimate step son nicely ? . I really pity her. Part of this mess is due to Tak Gu's mom who clearly knew that the guy is married with kids and his wife just delivered and she consented to the relationship. The father is really bad and I hope he gets his punishment.
I have never seen any drama which pays attention to the sexual harassment issues in the workplace as much as this one. In this drama, I did not see any over the top very straight sexual harassment issues, but I like the way the senior management is taking this issue seriously and making an effort to understand the female employees' problem and make male employees second-guessing their actions.
I see in many Korean and Japanese dramas where it is shown to look like the company dinners are almost mandatory where lots of drinking is involved. I really don't understand this culture and I myself would not be comfortable doing that. When previously malleable Yoon Jin Ah declines to be as accommodating as before, it causes a chain effect which is very much necessary. I mean how long can women go on suffering in the hands of these men for the sake of a job.
I really enjoy the romance aspect of the drama, how she took his hand first, how she says she likes him more but I also appreciate the team bringing the social issues to the front.
I am so jealous of 'That Man". To do an IT job, being a cafe owner and a barista, I am sure I have a lot to learn from him. I have been in IT for many years and I could never manage a hobby let alone a second career. Most of my colleague's spouses are also from IT, mostly from the same company because we simply don't meet anyone else outside the office:). At least that has been my experience in India and US. Now South Korea is giving me new career goals. Probably I should move there.
Interesting concept, which is very much similar to Tamil movie Anegan where a gaming company comes up with new ideas by stimulating the brains of employees. Also similar is the reincarnation story. Considering the fact that both came in 2015 with Anegan coming first, I wonder which one is inspired by the other.
When two actors are playing the same character especially if both of them have somewhat lengthy roles, maybe they should look at how the actor who originally portrayed the character did the role. I felt that the older Jun-su was very different from the younger one, especially the way he laughs and his other mannerisms and could not belive that it was the same characetr. Lots of unresolved issues. I watched it only because it is available on Netflix US
Rayrat's mother and Satayu's mother are best friends. After the death of their husbands, both of them live together at Rayrat's house. Satayu and Rayrat grew up together in the same house and Satayu being older acts like her guardian. They are in friends with Chote who is the son of their mother's friend. The relationship between these 3 starts to change when they are grown up. To further complicate matters, Ray's best friend is in love with Chote.
This was one drama which kind of made me hate the FL and made me sympathize for the villain. FL was very cruel at times and whatever the reasons she did not have any right to be .It would have been a nice ending if the villain was not the villain.
