Ahahaha, in the novel, her father actually died and then transmigrated to another world. So he asked Yin Changli for help to bring Xiang Haikui to that world. That means Xiang Haikui time traveled, unlike her father who transmigrated. But in the drama, it seems different (I got a spoiler) Xiang Haikui's father also time traveled.
