I wish people talked more about the side characters actings. Gu Yu Fengs acting was so good especially in ep 16-17, Zhao Fus struggles feel so real and Aunt Heng’e was so well done, I could see her love for Jun Dai so easily. Of course Tian Xi Wei stole the spotlight but the side characters have done a wonderful job, it’s commendable. A good show can’t be called so if it’s only one character saving the show and I can tell this— all of the characters have done a fantastic acting

More over, no one’s interested in submissive fl and dominant ml anymore, and like you’ve stated, there are numerous dramas where they’re both smart, like blossom. It’s your opinion I understand but you could easily just drop the show. We’re living in a generation of women empowerment so what’s wrong in showing a dominant fl?
