keeps getting better and better, I genuinely love fast paced shows because let’s be honest no one has the time in todays world to actually sit and watch a slow story I just can’t deal with it. I don’t want misunderstandings stretching across 4 episodes, it’s not ideal anymore and IM SO GLAD its not strechy and dragged

Because she looks identical to the heiress of the Marquis household, she is forced to step in as a substitute bride to marry Lu Zhuo
Jun Dai (villian)- false noble heiress who grew up in luxury by taking the real Wei Rao's place. Shes cruel, arrogant and ruthless

Just yesterday i was telling someone I think tiger sniff the rose should air soon cuz lament of autumn and where thr mask ends are airing and today I woke up and first thing I see is the date
ive seen her in some short drama– I mean the 2 min ones with no plotline and funny music with horrible dubbing, I found her very pretty so I’m glad I got to see her in an actual drama

it’s good if you like dramas more on mls pov, poor fl feels like a side character to me. 6eps are good to keep going because they’re definitely taking their sweet time to progress the story since it’s 40 eps. Worth trying if you have the time, if not I’d suggest u wait a few more eps before starting
The chemistry between the leads is definitely what keeps me going, and Cheng Lei’s screen presence makes his character hard to ignore, help he’s so good. The Republican-era setting, costumes and overall atmosphere add to the appeal even tho it’s not a S+ budget drama, you can tell they’ve put in a lot of efforts and the mystery keeps things interesting.
However, the problem arises with the pacing, which can feel uneven.
Besides that, I hope the female lead gets more depth as the story progresses, because she’s a strong character however she doesn’t get time to shine bcz ml just keeps coming inbetween. I also want the romance to develop naturally instead of relying too much on possessiveness and power dynamics, because it feels forced for fl, who doesn’t seem to have any interest.
So far, I’d give it a 8/10. It has potential, but I’m waiting to see whether the writing lives up to it.
