I think it's just mewatch that has one31's dramas. Mewatch is free but you need a vpn. Honestly, I rather mewatch get it than one31 do their own because their subs suck real bad but it's still better than autosub I guess lol
Youtube auto translate gets the pronouns and a lot of translation wrong for ex "Money drives the car itself, right?" Can't be right lol. Anyway, One used to sub some of their shows on their channel I guess they stopped and sell rights to Chinese platforms. Hold off a little longer and you might find it on Mewatch
HS, I don't want him with Pugh!!! She deserves better than Jira!!
I don't know if she deserves better than him. She may not be as innocent or deserving of sympathy since she used him for personal gains with Bee. He might have acted with good intentions, but compromised his principles for her. Jira going to Bee for money undermines his earlier character integrity, when he had a firm stance like "I don't sleep with clients." Honestly, I'm conflicted both leads I think are grey.
So in episode 7, Jira gets upset about being called a prostitute. And what does he do? He calls up Bee and agrees to go live with her, and from what I saw in the raw episode 8, he even sleeps with her. Isn’t he doing exactly what they accused him of?
I am going to answer in a couple of parts, and this is not extensive and also from the perspective of an English…
I totally agree, endangered species really sums it up. Subtitles for Thai dramas are so hard to find. Popular ones with popular actors/actresses usually get subbed on big platforms, which is great, but there are so many underrated gems that I wish had subtitles too.
Honestly, coming back to Thai dramas now, it feels like there's way less interaction and discussion around them. I genuinely miss the Facebook days when all fansubbers kept the community alive.
What really annoys me and this might be a bit off-topic is how bad the subtitles are on some official platforms (cough cough one31). Like, if you're going to kill off fansubs, at least make your translations decent lol
I remember the original Mai and Weir. Not really a fan of the remake leads, but I might give it a try.
By the way, to anyone reading this: are there really only TWO subbing sites for Thai dramas? The ones that upload Netflix/VIU content don't count. I stopped watching about two years ago because English subs died, and now it seems like there's even less. I’m wondering if copyright holders are making it difficult for subbers, or if Thai dramas aren’t as popular anymore after the hype around Love Destiny faded?
Omg! I thought the yarn was graphic and disturbing but this pushes it even further. Definitely didn’t expect something like this from a Thai drama, to be honest. I’ve gotta give credit to Monomax for pushing boundaries like this. Rape has often been romanticized in Thai dramas, so it's unsettling to see a portrayal like this that truly depicts what rape is.
Question: Does LP sub the dramas on their site? I went to their site, and on the homepage, I saw some dramas that…
Yeah the dramas have subtitles. The dramas from GMMTV take you to the YouTube they don't sub those. You wouldn't be paying for the dramas that can be found on Netflix and Viu unless you don't want pay for the VPN because other sites like kissasian have them. Their "exclusives" for lack of a better word that aren't found on other sites, they do the subtitles to those. I subscribed specifically for my dear secretary then watched the yarn. I like how everything is all in one place and no ads, and it saves me the cost of VPN. I actually plan to watch this one and Reclaim
And it’s done! Up to the end and the show still didn’t let things wrap up neatly. I’m satisfied, well worth…
Omg! That ending completely messed up my brain-I did not see that coming, did you? I agree the whole series was so well-paced too, literally no dull moments, just constant intensity. Super dark, yet intriguing.
Bua delivered two really good series back to back. I can't wait to see her next work. Bias aide ML's character was good in here too. The little moments they had were cute.
I am obsessed with this show and am so grateful that the subbers are keeping a good pace, at least one or two…
I like the scene where she was hitting her head against the wall, and he placed his hand between them-he definitely likes her. Everyone sees it.
The story itself is quite different almost dystopian in a way. They almost had me believing who the killer is. I even think I know who FL's "Dad" is and where it's going. But the killer's story is tragic, humanizes him/her after we witnessed how gruesome the killings are
Its a pity that LP subbed episodes are somewhat shorter than the original videos, there are a lot of cut scenes.
Likely to avoid copyright detection? Altering a video might make it less likely to be flagged. Or they could get a massive takedown like Dramacool. Makes sense to me it seems they're not facing any of the issues
Good for Pie, I only remember her playing minor roles now she's playing opposite Nadech lol
