And you’re on point about Wintergarden! I don’t know what people expected. Jeongwon has always been like this with his loved ones. As pointed out by Ikjun, his coolness in S1 was the odd thing - not his aegyo. And if people were expecting Jeongwon to act towards Gyeoul the way he does with the 99’s, then that wouldn’t be dating would it? It would be friendship

It’s not a Korean drama, but Chayenzo really reminds of the main leads from an American crime tv show called the Mentalist. Plus the male lead in the Mentalist is also going after someone to seek revenge - so he really gives me Vincenzo vibes
