How was the romance looking? Any kiss scenes, or is it more low-key, like holding hands?
romance is good. kiss scenes are great and the main couple have very good chemistry. helps that they are easy on the eye as well

what an interesting drama.. it was boring, then it got interesting, then it got boring again. i dropped at episode 19 but episodes 3-18 were quite decent

The one thing i observed from the comment section that there is more toxicity in the comment section than drama…
there's so much more where that came from. this show is lowkey and ironically a masterpiece that should be analysed in a uni course about the psyche of a modern man

tw: misogyny, slutshaming
honestly like where do i even begin. from the first 20 mins of the show, we can already tell that these men only view women as objects they can conquer ("水手不止有一个码头,他
需要征服世界上所有的码头"). later in the episode, one of the ml also said that he preferred picking up women in richer areas ("高档小区才好下手"). in the second episode, this female character entered one of the ml's store and bought almost everything. the guy basically said something like "some men need punishment but dont go overboard" (implying that she's spending another man's money -> implying that when a man spends money, he's spending his own money but a woman is incapable of making that much money to spend on herself). in the next episode, a bunch of coworkers were gossiping about the ml and fl after reading a gossip about them online. they basically slut shamed the fl by saying that she came onto him. there was also another line that i've seen clips of ("女人出门在外应该注意分寸") which roughly translates to "women should know their place when in public".

the drama is more toxic than this comment section and if y'all can't recognise it, then it's kinda on y'all. the show is disrespectful of anyone who isn't a man and it's honestly quite degrading. a lot of cdramas have misogynistic plots but none of them are as bad as this. are we even watching the same drama.

i thought long and hard about who this show is for and i finally have an answer. it's for two groups of people - the "i can't be a misogynist because i'm a woman" and "i can't be a misogynist because i love women" types of people. i'm not even surprised that this regressive and outdated piece of media has a 7.6 on mdl.

Title Intense Love
Why does the female lead call the main lead differently? Zhou bo bei?
she's calling him zhou bao bei(周宝贝). zhou being his surname and baobei being an endearing term similar to baby or darling. its really cute actually
