Plots are supposed to be intriguing and interesting at the start. When a show starts confusing then you know a plot bomb is coming where everything will make sense. If you instantly know everything going on then it will be cliche and boring. The people complaining are those who watch BL shows for a living and forget what production is. Accustom to getting all the plot handed to them from day 1 with no conflict, shit stories. Their brain can't handle critical thinking anymore because they're fucking stupid. So they hate because they now have pea-sized brains. They need to go watch a well-produced American show or K-drama, even a non-BL Thai show. It's best to just ignore those low lives.

MDL users are way too harsh to be 'rating for looks'. Anyone who does that is weird, and it doesn't add much effect anyway.
